Killed Until Dead: SLT is buggy
I've just downloaded the Killed Until Dead SLT version from http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0006534 and run a cursory test on it. The conversion to SLT appears to have introduced bugs; the graphics for the Hall, Library and Patio are corrupted, and when I'd completed the first level and answered 'Yes' to "Do you want to know the mystery?", the solution screens weren't displayed.

(When I had a +3 I created a +3 disk hack based on the original tape, with each mystery as a separate file. I don't recall if I ever gave that version to anyone else).
The large file (19 in the tape, A1 in the SLT) has a bit missing at the end, which explains the Hall, Library and Patio graphics.
The Epilogue doesn't show because the carry flag is not being set after loading it.
But... it is a bit more broken when it comes to playing another level, regardless of the method of success/failure in the first case. That's a more complicated issue.
Well if you still use a real machine, slt is preferable. tzx is an emulator only format. When I used my real machine it only took about a half hour to convert slt multiloads to disk multiloads on the real thing.
Write games in C using Z88DK and SP1

I also hope that it is working fully, I've tested a few cases, but not all of them.
Thanks for this, mate.
im using the tape version with zxds
it sez to insert the mystery tape but you have to let one more file load from side 1 first, then you can load the mystery.
The computer themed mystery has some humorous references
Thanks -- that looks brilliant! (And patching out the 'Press stop on tape' / 'Press play on tape' screens means it's much faster to load mysteries than the original).
