Back!

edited January 2015 in Chit chat
Finally got broadband and telephone service sorted today!

Only took 31 days...not bad going for BT/Openreach

Hope you all had a good Xmas/New Year?

Have been on a couple of times, using this tethering business...but only to keep on top of emails and stuff.

So, what have I missed?

31 days? try 3 months of talk talk BS.. you got off lightly.. then I dropped em for BT.. emailing their CEO seemed to speed things up in my case.

I notice they all really try to push fibre optic instead of adsl etc.. the stuff they should have installed years ago in the first place.

Welcome back. I went almost a month without broadband when I moved into my flat too, it was driving me up the walls..
  • Welcome back STeaMy :)

A month without broadband? It must have been weird talking to people and reading books and stuff

Makes sense...always had my suspicions about those 2.

Didn't turn up. Then connected my land line (to the wrong number!) then activated my broadband (on that same wrong number!) and finally they switched my number over which also sorted broadband.

I was trying to run my life as normal as possible. Some people thought it was weird that I kept walking up to them and poking them. Showing them pictures I'd taken and waiting for comments.

Saying "Lol" instead of just laughing out loud...

I've learnt that people are proper R-tards - glad I got broadband back.

I did post a couple of times I think...I was on the verge of getting renewed data usage on my mobile so thought I'd pop in.

Apart from that, I was staying away from everything that wasn't "proper" - basically I was sticking to emails/facebook (trying to organise a mates stag do!)...but now I'm back for props!
