We should do the saucer awards again next year, surely the 'Most Scottish Salad' has already been won!

I saw the blue paxo box in the cupboard and realised it wouldn't last another 12 months!

I was expecting zx1's pizza gate to be improved on .. much like a tricky 2nd music album surpassing the first :)

    r tape , it's a bit colourful for here ? :) normally it's 1-3 colours of food.

funny about paxo, we had stacks of it at work for 2 months.. that no one bought, the folk went mental for it last 2 days and chestnuts.

I have stuffing in mash..mum used to make it that way as kids, don't think thats the normal way.. basically it's mixed in with it.

Scoffed this last night. Cooked some chicken in a spicy barbecue/chilli/tomato sauce. Baked potato with a bit of cheese. Mixed salad with beetroot (though not R-Tape scale). Lots of fried mushrooms hurled over the top. It was very nice.

I think this should be disqualified as a contender for the trophy, as it actually looks good enough to eat !

He also deliberately placed the food on the plate and took the photo in a way that you can't really count anything :x

I like the look of that (even though the refried paxo looks like broken up Tracker bars ).

I thought that chicken in sauce was a slice of pizza for a minute! Nice mash-up of foodstuffs in there though. Love mushrooms! :)

Tonights nosh. It's a fusion dish. Asda's tinned ravioli with slivers of Sainsbury's mature cheddar.

You're having something quite similar to what I shall be eating soon, frozen chips with a can of some kind of crappy pasta product (Haven't decided which one? I have the usual suspects...Ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs etc....haven't decided on my poison yet :D).

I call it Laziness Maximus, I shall not be documenting it via digital media :D

I think this was discussed a couple of years back? I think it was decided not to, but it did result in a link to ratemypoo

Ah yes, that well known fusion of SPAR* ravioli and petrol station bread.

That masterchef spoof comes to mind again

    *or maybe Londis.

The Ravioli has got me thinking, over the years I have tried numerous Macarroni Cheese tins from all of the best brands and any others I can find, I have only found on that tastes good. It is the Sainsbury's own, I think it is in a green tin at the moment. I also throw in a handful of grated chedder, top it off with more and a couple of slices of fried tomato. It tastes as good as some of the restaurant ones I have tried.

Also Sweet & Sour sauce, some cost a couple of quid or more a jar and are awful, but Sainsbury's basic sweet & sour sauce costs about 35p and is ace ! They do a basic chip shop curry gravy as well but I have yet to try that !

Any tips on things to try ?

I prefer to make my own, the tinned stuff isn't very good.
