I'm out of mustard. And nice food. Need to go shopping.

Baked potato, bit of cheese, topped with Heinz beans & sausages. Had some vegetables ready to start rotting so had some cabbage, carrots and asparagus with it. And mushrooms. Drizzling of Encona hot sauce on the top.

All in all, it wasn't particularly tasty. I was a bit gutted I'd not realised it was pancake day today, could have had some nice pancakes.

Even Heinz beans need to be stirred with a Knob, of butter ;)

Treacle pudding. My parents used to call this 'Mouldy Mike', to this day I don't know why.

Technically it's Syrup pudding but that doesn't sound right. I can't bear people calling Syrup 'Treacle'.

We were bought up on Tramp Pie, we never knew what it was, but it was a deep meat pie. It turned out that it was made of real tramps

Did you actually steam that for real, with the blue/white Muslin cloth ?

Not me, I've never made a steamed pud in my life - thankfully we had a great host that knows how to cook (but he used greaseproof rather than the manky blue/white towel).

reminds me of the bloke 2-3 years back on tv.. said he was saving ?3k on buying meat.... as he was using road kill (e.g. birds etc) showed him going out looking for it as well :o

Got a Ginsters Cornish pasty in the fridge for later.

Just trying to decide what to have with it. Might have it with mash, beans and gravy.

I wasn't around at the time, think I joined after, though I did stumble across this recently.

zx1 that's a top lunch, it's making me salivate. I'd probably go with "broooooon" sauce rather than ketchup though.

Unfortunately i didn't have any, i fancied a change to ketchup it was.
I also had a slice of buttered bread to dip into the yolk:smile:

Looks nice zx1, though the sausages could do with a little less acrylamide ;)

I don't like eggs, but it looks cooked to a degree of edibleness, and the sausages look quite nice.

Now add some beans, bacon and a few other bits n' pieces and you may have a saucer, as it is the well cooked food is let down by the scarceness of the saucer itself.

    How disappointing :p

Didn't have any bacon, it would have been nice but too much would have been heavy on my stomach.
Can't eat too much, trying to watch the waistline!

Big bacon sandwich with six slices, bread dipped in bacon fat, then pasted generously with real butter, I always have a huge knob !

I may be ancient, but I am still only a 32" waist !
