The Beatles - The lost Decca Tapes (2015)
There's a whole load of unofficial CD's of early stuff on Amazon, probably due to it falling out of copyright.
yeah remember the judgement night soundtrack. it's not bad but I never really got into it. prefer most of the artists involved on their own. most of those collabs just sound weirdly awkward to me
edit, Run DMC + Aerosmith - Walk This Way, that's one I do like :)

Yeah I bought that at a time I was into both hip hop and loud guitars but a lot of it didn't really sound right. Might revisit it though, it's been over 20 years.
Although talking about callabs and the Judgement Night album Onyx and Biohazard are still doing Bionyx tunes afaik, the last one they did together was in 2010, or 2012 I think? But I think it may have just been a promo tune for Onyx's new album?

This is the first time i've properly heard the tapes (i had a copy on vinyl but lost it) and i'n not surprised they weren't signed to Decca, they simply don't sound that great, all the songs sound too thin and Paul and John sing the occasional bum note. The choice of material left a lot to be desired too.

I didn't mind that one actually, some decent songs....in fact loads of good ones now I think about it
Think Vulgar still pips it for me though
does the sound sound like "Fwapp" by any chance?
Yep, Vulgar is still my fave:smile:
1. Vulgar Display Of Power
2. Cowboys From Hell
3. Reinventing The Steel
4. Far Beyond Driven
5. Great Southern Trendkill

This song has been covered by loads of bands, by this version surely is the best? (Great Aussie band)
Debbie Harry also did a decent go of Heroes (great Robert Fripp on guitar)

2 mil views? never even heard of him. guess he's massive in Oz? pretty good, not a huge fan of guitars in hip hop though tbh
others covering bowie songs, punk or related bands more specifically
your first one i dont think quite fits, and second one...im thinking about the blondie version
He's done loads of stuff - worth a dig as they're not all that "radio friendly"

Rock Box is probably my favourite of theirs in that style.
And then there's this...
It's such an awful cheesy mess.

completely standard FM radio 'classic rock' type stuff, but I like it
