Hackers/modded games
I was wondering does anyone do this on the Spectrum? I know there are a few people on the Commodore 64 scene who alter games, add options, trainers etc.
I'd love a version of Cybernoid where you could keep the 128k sound effects but turn the music off, instead of just sound on/off.

Harry price, is that you?
Even with that, it was hard to finish!
I also got Alien 8 with a loader at the beginning of the loading asking for how many lives did you want at the start of the game.
Most things worth playing on the Speccy have been hacked for .tap / DivIDE / Spectanet / disc systems, and trained along the way. There are some prolific hackers in this regard, not least Nuggetreggae from these forums.
There are places you can access thousands of such titles, even chosen from a handy online menu if you use Spectranet.
However, saying much more on the subject would be breaking forum rules.
That's the normal version.

Made several years ago. This version has music toggle that keeps sound fx. Also cargo timer bug is fixed, and fix to lift collisions.

The music toggle fix was by Mr Anonymous, and is here.

Of course, a lot of games were changed to support disk versions, or run on modern ZX-clones, and many had small cracktro with possibility to set trainer mode.
Sorry for being off-topic, but as you seems to like Cybernoid, have you ever seen this?
