Professional Mel-the-Bell Simulator................"So realistic, I found myself reaching for the Kleenex King-Size!" - Richard Darling
Sorry to keep going on about it but at the moment I can't stop playing " Alice S Adventures in Toytown " A re-imagining of The Cravats LP The Cravats in Toytown. It has been released by Overground records as a two part CD containing each of the above mentioned LPs, and it only cost ?7.99.
I think it must have been my favourite Buy in the past 12 months, it almost has the same kind of feeling as Deus Ex Machina, but punkier. It is about 1 hour long as well, great escapist experience !
My favourite track is Travelling Riverside Blues, apparently it was made up on the spot.
Not quite, it's an old Robert Johnson tune, but quite possibly this arrangement was improvised on the spot. Zep's version is quite different to
Johnsons original version but definitely has the same feel.
First Ozrics album I've bought for ages... haven't listened to the whole thing yet (it's a double CD) but already there's a couple of stand out tracks that remind me of Ozrics at their best.
Status Quo - Whatever You Want Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl? G'N'R - You Could Be Mine The Calling - Wherever You Will Go Ramones - Spiderman Blondie - One Way or Another
