I can't understand how they can exist as a "band" ... with around 30 people it seems like they are more of a performance arts group ... I only have one of their CD's "The Beginning Stages of..." (and it came with an extra free one).

The reason why I have their CD? Well, back in the summer of '03 WV had a TV ad and it had an interesting little ditty playing in the background. I am used to having CC on at all times and it actually had the name of the band and the song at the start of the ad.

Wait ... you were saying something about their website? Oh, I couldn't get it to load so I don't know what's there.

    ... now it worked ...

kind of cool ... very interesting to say the least, I mean I wonder if it is someone in the "band" that suggested the Speccy or someone involved with the making of the site.

I think he means the one that opens up with a picture of a 48k Spectrum. How can I tell? Its black with rubber keys & says Sinclair ZX Spectrum on it.

Just had a look at it. You can click on the keys and various pictures of the band will be displayed.

Amazing the places where the spectrum appears, eh?

They're a great band by the way. I first got into them after hearing their song in 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind' and 'Scrubs'. The song was called 'Section 9 (Light and Day)'.

If you mean the Stickers screen, and the right-hand sticker...

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is NOT a Spectrum, it's an MSX, a Japanese computer.

    How can I tell?

    1. It doesn't LOOK like a Speccy
    2. It says MSX on the TV screen behind it
    3. It has Kanji on the screen as well

    Look more carefully next time.

    OOPS

  • Not my cup of tea, reminded me of carefree '60s/70's america. Pretty lame.
But they got a Spectrum on their site, thats cool

Here's a little hint at some interesting news I received the other day...

A band is using Spectrum animation to create a music video for their (fairly) mainstream forthcoming single.

I can't say anymore at the moment, as there are some even more surprising things afoot.
