Ten mystery sounds from Spectrum games that come from pressing the Shoot game. I reckon some of these are really hard, but you guys never cease to amaze me.

    I'm with Morkin, #3 sounds like Starquake.

    #7 sounds like Highway Encounter... I think.


    Edit: oops! didn't see #3 had been confirmed as Firelord. Heh.

    No, sorry. Only Firelord for #3. The catapult thud of Skooldaze would have been a good idea though.

    Thank you Morkin!!!!  As soon as I heard it I knew the sound but couldn't name the game. All I kept thinking about was Sidewize/Crosswize/Zybex style games. I can now sleep easy tonight.
