I don't really partake in watching movies or playing modern games. I do listen to a lot of music, but most of that is by credible modern acts, who tend to freely distribute their music, to promote sales from gigs and merchandise.
The idea that life would be boring and totalitarian because people *don't* lock themselves in their house for mass marketed entertainment, hooked up to an evolution of the US defence network that tends to communicate and store all their activity, to be a very strange one.
I thought Da Kidz stream from the clouds and such nonsense these days and don't even bother buying CDs like their parents used to.
They don't know they're born, what with their Spotty Flies and Foo Cubes, try getting one of them to walk about with a paving slab that skips the music every 3rd heartbeat and eats AA's like Smarties, in fact try getting them to leave the house at all, they just sit around all day laughing at some Swede squealing at Space Invaders.
Hmmpf cant tell which ones are girls and which ones are boys nowadays i tell you.
By the way did you see that video the wife sent you on the Faceybook with the Squirrel on the Jetski.
Oh I stream all my music these days, in which I pay a subscription. I don't think I could own physical music or movie media anymore. I haven't went that way with games, yet, but it's only a matter of time.
