Rejoined the Spectrum Owners Club!

Rescued a +2A I bought around 15 years ago from ebay, which was lurking in my dad's loft. It works an absolute treat, and is in near mint condition - it still has that lovely plastic smell to it that screams 'new'! It's good to be back using real hardware.

  • Make A Chip = RARE!
  • Oh yes, of course. If anyone wants to buy it, the bidding starts at £100.

Ooh really? I've got a copy in my collection. I think it came with the original compilation that Sinclair gave with the 48k.
    Sod it!

  • I think M-A-C is to the Spectrum, what E.T. is to the Atari 2600 - seems they made more copies of it than there were computers to use it on!
  • It would really make my day to see someone find a copy of Make-a-Chip on an Interface II ROM cartridge and stick it on eBay...

    3 light guns...?!?!

Surely they didn't all come with the action pack?

One will have done, a Sinclair one. The other is presumably from my original +2A (The other Action Pack, with Bullseye, Operation Wolf, etc.), and the Cheetah gun I bought during my original spell as a Spectrum owner, in the early 1990s. It came with six Codemasters games I believe, including Bronx Street Cop and Billy the Kid.

Shame I don't own a CRT telly any more. No way of using these guns now.
