after a bit of investigation I've found the Liam version. it's the same song but was called 'Coming On Strong' at the time.

noel acoustic one was from a radio session, didn't know that

edit, wasn't planning on embedding those vids, seems to do it automatically...

Funny that coming on strong tune sounds better than anything Oasis ever released :))

Didn't like Setting Sun much, knew a girl that looked a bit like the crazy bitch from the vid though, she's a millionaire or something now, she was always a rich bitch though.

Her mother was Eastern European if I remember rightly, we smashed her house up at a party and I remember her mother was in the back yard swearing at us in Bratislavan or polish or something. Everybody was laughing at her until she screamed in almost perfect queens English with the stifflip Brit accent and everything "YOU LITTLE BASTARDS ARE REALLY TAKING THE P*SS NOW!!!!!!!", everybody stopped for sec....then continued laughing :))

  • Considering Setting Sun is a remake of Tomorrow Never Knows it's no suprise the Gallaghers got involved.
  • yeah it does sound very similar. and to add to the originality they gave it the title of a Jam album (almost)

there was another Chemical bros/ Noel track, Let Forever Be. liked that one as well....

  • only single of theirs I ever bought was block rockin beats. which then went in at #1, think that's the only time I've ever helped a single get to the top of the charts?

apparently said psychedelic reel cd was ineligible cos of the "free gifts" so they rereleased it minus the numbering, poster and sticker
