Actually just got them last Winter.. My Wife never saw the point.. ("My Dad never bothered with them!" etc.), but after a few intense slides and scary moments last year, plus the Province now pushing a program where they'll pay and you can pay them back over a few years (They were about $1100 for a set, paying it back at $50 a month for 2 years with a little bit of interest, so not so bad, plus I got a $70 rebate). They're worth having though - can really tell the difference.

Although at work we fit them to a Toyota 4x4 so that an essential service team can still get to wherever they need to go, as sometimes travel is down country lanes. It is rare that we have to use the 4x4 mode.
