Phew! I was getting near the bottom and worrying that I hadn't placed this year, but that's a good award to get. Now time for a celebratory beer I think ;)
Here's a pic of new year's eve dinner yesterday, it's one of the starters, the glorious jamón and (below in the pic) the also glorious manchego cheese.
I caramelized onions and fried strips of turkey breast, put them on corn tortillas, added sheep cheese and some of those yougurt creams for children. Put all into the microwave for two minutes. The heated strawberry cream smelled good!
First I noticed the sweet taste of strawberry which started wearing down in favour of the onion, nice, but I expected a salty meaty aftertaste in the end which wasn't there! I had to take long sips of black coffe to finish the brunch. Next time I think i'll spill less childish cream and add pieces of toast with sobrasada, a soft spicy sausage from Majorca.
For my next fried fodder I want to give it a go to sweetpotato fries with lots of garlic powder and grated cheese.
....Only somebody who was tripping balls would think strawberry yoghurt on a taco was a good idea.....and I'm speaking from experience Bacon Monster Munch and banana muller crunch corner.
It was amazing, of course I never tried it sober, so I have no idea if I just thought it was great at the time =))

This is a good time to recall your early manhood. Tell us if you manage to improve the recipe. I think it needs something very pork on the base lol
To be honest I was a bit puzzled about the award I got ... "most german pizza", what is that really supposed to mean? There isn't any german pizza. Maybe if I had put sausages and sauerkraut on it ...?
I do find it a little saddening though there aren't any other german participiants in this thread, so I have won by default. Blame the breadbin!
I scoffed a slightly strange saucer earlier, but I didn't take a photo. Basically, yesterday I made fish sticks and potato wedges but I didn't eat them all so I put them in the fridge overnight. Today I had planned to reheat them in the oven but since the plate with the food was pretty cold from the fridge, I put it on top of a radiator to warm up a bit first. And I promptly forgot about it. 2 hours later I noticed a smell, the food actually had reached a quite nice temperature so I just had it right there, without bothering with the oven.
It didn't mean anything really, other than a running joke since your last award, I'd also had a few beers. But it can be an incentive to post some properly 'deutschified' saucers like pumpernickel pizza with sauerkraut on it :-p
Also - have to say I'm not sure I like to sound of fish sticks cooked to a nice optimal bacteria temperature on a radiator!
