Probably won't bother with the DLC as I've got enough games racked up to play after this. I'm not too bothered about it TBH.
I encountered a 'ghost' settler glitch, she was serving at one of the stalls but no dialogue options were available and I could walk through her. I'd noticed that earlier the PS4 had installed a Fallout patch. Wonder if it was related?
I'm kind of looking forward to Automatron because it's going to have a small side story, and I like the idea of being able to build your own robot.
If the early pic is anything to go by it'll be next to bloody unstoppable if you can give it both arms from a Sentry Bot, and an Assaultron's head. That's a regular Gatling, a Laser Gatling, and that ridiculous bloody Laser that the Assaultron's shoot out of their faces.
They can mash your health down in seconds.
The middle DLC is the one I'm not that interested in, although I guess it would be cool to have a pet Deathclaw, and I'm sure the sadists out there will love dropping Raiders into it's pen at feeding time >:)
But obviously Far Island is the one most people are really interested in, and I'm assuming is going to be the last one released? It's gonna be the best one, so it makes sense I guess...
I'm currently on a day trip sightseeing around the Glowing Sea... on my right is a Deathclaw, on my left is an Alpha Deathclaw, up ahead is another Deathclaw with loads of those buzzing bloaty things... and finally behind me is something which looks like a Deathclaw but is foooooooooking huge... I will not run, I have guns, I have ammo, I have shiteloads of Stimpaks... Time to kick some arse. :D
Hahahah, just noticed summat... If you are on a road or something that has a central barrier, then just keep jumping back and forth over it while continuing to shoot at the Deathclaw.. It takes the long way around and doesn't jump the barrier (thank fook). I've just had two of them running back and forth while I blew them to bits lol
Find Cricket, and buy Spray n' Pray from her, you'll never need to run from a deathclaw ever again.
Or shoot them in the head with a Gauss Rifle, or a Railway Rifle......But actually the most fun is trying to cripple one of their legs and watching them hobble after you (then it's time to be a dick, and kill them off really slowly with a 10mm pistol) :))
Cricket is a travelling Vendor, you'll recognize her when you see her, she's tall really skinny and looks like a crystal meth addict, sounds like one too.
I've seen her outside of Vault 81, at Bunker Hill, and wandering around the streets kind of between Diamond City and Goodneighbour, oh and I've seen her at Warwick Homestead a couple of times as well.
Sounds like some of you guys are finding the game too easy, you should crank it up to survival difficulty or whatever... ;)
Sentry bots seem to be fairly tough. I find I need to lay out a few pulse mines and lure them in, as Righteous Authority or whatever it's called doesn't seem to damage them much. For me anyway. Don't know if there are legendary sentry bots, they'd probably cause me a few issues. I've also been a bit wary near Gunner compounds, at least the ones with the lookouts holding missile launchers... :(
My favourite enemies are probably the super mutant suiciders - especially where you can hear the beeping while you're inside a building... Then again, you're probably fairly safe as long as you can outrun your companion.. :))
Most of my weapons haven't been upgraded so enemies are still a bit tough for me to kill, although I am very determined and a little crazy when dealing with them muahahahah. 8 tend to find places where they find it hard to shoot at me, which gives me a little time to pick them off :)
I like to cripple them so they can't run, and then torment them with weak weapons, or just shoot them with a Mutant Slayers gun, and kill them before they explode so I can keep the Mini-nuke they're carrying.
What is fun to do though if you know where they are is shoot the nuke with a sniper rifle and blow them up while they sitting or standing around minding their own business.
I've got Cait out with me now, the girl with the Irish accent, did a couple of Institute missions.
I had Strong with me but i sent him off to one of the settlements, apart from that just wandered around and killed loads of raiders and mutants, also had to defend the lighthouse settlement, there was one settler living there even though i turned off the beacon the minute it was built :))

No matter how quick you turn off the beacon I think you always get at least 1 settler.
I have 1 woman living at the Lighthouse, and I love it every time she gives us the "We fought them off" speech :D
Anyway I've just turned the game on now, I've pretty much been asleep since I got in from work, I've been ill for about 4 days now, and I guess I really needed to sleep. Got the game hung up from where I left it yesterday, and that's about to talk to Elder Maxson.
He's pretty much a hipster, sh*te beard, head shaved round the sides, and long and greasy slicked on top, crap clothes, etc. I'm curious if you kill him and take his clothes if he'll be covered in tattoos of geometric shapes, bleeding bricks, Hello Kitty's, and Mandalas?
There's a mission where Maxson wants you to attack the Railroad HQ and instantly makes you a Railroad enemy, i accepted this mission but decided against it and loaded in an earlier save :D
Not played it tonight, i'm working tomorrow but had too much bourbon to play it properly :))
Doing a mission for the Brotherhood when you have to escort a scribe so he can get data, man is that guy a moron. He's got next to no armour, and a crappy Laser Pistol, but seems to think it's totally fine to run ahead of me into a room full of Legendary Gunners, and MKIII Machine Gun Turrets.
What part of being escorted means running blindly to your death at every opportunity, I've reloaded this mission 3 times now cos' that worthless spacker has a total f**king deathwish.

Haha..! That was possibly the hardest mission I've done.. Towards the end they had virtually no health left and kept running into the crossfire.. The sensible option would have been to accept the mission, then reload and clear a route to the destination before re-triggering, but not doing that made the mission more entertaining (until the end bit).
Yeah I don't think I'll be helping with any more research parties after this mission, I'll get the useless gimp through it eventually. I've already taken out the danger upstairs if I need to go outside. I took a few knocks though, when I was sniping the Gunners on the ground and the machine gun turrets, one of the buggers on the roof hit me twice with a mini-nuke before I even knew what was happening.
But I've been stingy with my ammo, but just for quick kills and insurance I'm probably gonna use the Gauss Rifle in VATS. Righteous Authority is fine for regular Gunners, but there's too many tougher ones inside to take them all down quickly.
The Gauss Rifle will take most of them apart in 1 shot usually.
I found a Violent Gauss Rifle earlier this morning, so stripped the mods off my regular one and modded it up, and now it does over 400 damage per shot. I renamed it to Gigatron Approved! :D

I've still not got into all this modding yet, :/ Might have a play once I can work it out lol
Well everybody stopped giving me missions, so I went ahead and decided to do Hunter/Hunted. I've been tailing the Corser, and I got a glimpse of him earlier on as he ran matrix style through a load of Gunners.
He seems to have killed about 30 of them on his way up the tower we're in, and I think I'm about to meet him as I'm at the top and I can hear what I assume is the last remaining Gunner begging for his life :))
Bit worried here, wondering if the Corser is going to be my first truly dangerous enemy? Or if I'm in for a disappointment?
EDIT: Hmmmm nope he was easy, easy, easy, I killed him so quick his Stealthboy didn't even have time to mess with my aiming :))
I've been looking at my weapons, and trying to lower my carry weight a little, it was no longer a problem for a while, but recently as the missions I've been getting become longer and harder the pickings bcome richer, and I find myself running out of room again.
So I dropped Boom Stick (Ghoul Slayers Double Barrel Shotgun) off, in favour of Kicked in the Ghoulies (Ghoul Slayers Auto Institute Rifle), but I decided to ditch that as well, because Ghouls aren't really much of a problem now I can pretty much mash any of them with anything. Sooooo I've had a Never Ending Double Barrel shotgun lying around for months, So I decided to take that with me, and wished I'd been carrying it since I first found it X(
It's mental, and with all the perks and stuff I've put in it's insanely overpowered, I also had a Never Ending 44. Pistol as well, so I switched out Kellogg's Pistol for that, and that's great as well. I'm annoyed as I feel like I've switched to them way too late :))
Realistically though I could carry those 2 guns, the Gauss Rifle, and Spray n' Pray with me for the rest of the game. but I suppose I have developed some kind of sad sentimental attachment to the rest of the guns I carry. It was quite hard to leave behind Black Flag (Exterminators Pistol), in favour of Off! (Exterminators Combat Shotgun), and I almost feel some weird sense of duty to keep carrying Righteous Authority :))

Yeah but you're a mass murderer, it comes with the territory :))
