Speccy version is almost unplayable in comparison even with Atari 2600 version, and especially with Atari 400/800/5200 version.
I know it is always matter of tastes :) but I bought in eBay the Spectrum versión and played it quite a lot last year until reaching high levels and I found it quite entertaining (you have to have into account it is an old game, so more playable than spectacular), but I really had fun with it and did not see any big flaw :)
I havent played the Atari versión, though, it may be that is better than the Spectrum one.
Shame that screenshot doesn't show the road extending into the border - I was quite chuffed with that.
In fact, the middle bit could be wider if it wasn't doing the border effect too!
