What game?

Can't remember the name of this game and have only a few memories left of it:

Top down view. Icons (collectables): keys, lightning(?), food(?).

Don't remember more, hoping these few clues help jog your memories and then you can jog mine.

    Wow that was quick but it's not that game. Each screen was completely filled and I think it was a scroller. Each map was maybe 5 x 5 screens total though I might be mistaken.

    The obvious ones would be Gauntlet or Gauntlet 2. Apart from that, Mr Weems, Dandy, Ranarama or Ninja Massacre were in the same vein.

    I was going to tell you I had anohter flashback. The game had similar walls/slime like Gothik, gamplay like Gauntlet, top down view like Ranarama. Then it hit me when I read over your post: Dandy!
