What, who are the people who will decide the outcome of a second Scottish independence referendum? I'm guessing that would be the Scottish electorate.

They have no mandate, but if they did, they would walk into an EU dictatorship, that little nippy would be proud of.
Where is your argument for freedom or democracy!? Why do you want independence if only to remove it!?

What? The Scottish people have no mandate :-O
Don't say that out loud near Scotland, or near a Scottish person :))

And I have outlined my case.

You are missing a fundamental point:
Scotland says we want freedom. Gets it/
Scotland says: We go cap in hand to the EU!
EU says says yes we accept! Here are x,y,z demands!
    Scotland: were also want a,b,c.
    EU: nope!
    Scotland: but but....
Good luck if this your outlook.

Ummm, what part of the Scottish independent referendum result did you not understand?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/events/scotland-decides/results

84% voted. 55% voted to stay as part of the UK. That's not getting freedom is it? Sure we'll get devolution but it's not freedom. Apparently Wales, England and N.Ireland are getting more control as well so it's not just Scotland that will benefit from the Scottish independent referendum.

With a glaring error like that in your so called "facts" it is pretty difficult to take your other "facts" as facts.

Yep, my ballot paper had the cross next the next EU president, but being part of the HORDES OF MORONS (see admins) that I didn't vote the 'correct way'!

What a complete non-sequitur. I've no idea what you're saying but I'll guess it confirms what I said.

    This is called sarcasm.

No, that's the break down of the actual vote not a poll before the referendum.

No it isn't... It's an exit poll. The source is right there in the screenshot...
Ah, my mistake. I thought there were no exit polls.

Ooooffft! But anyway, have you lived in Scotland since 1979? It's late and I'm heading to bed, but there are many reasons why Scotland would like independence from the UK but there are many reasons why Scotland would like to be part of the EU. The EU isn't perfect, far from it, but it does have certain benefits.

    Yes they do.

Argue what? I'm not going to waste my time vainly trying to hit nonsensical moving targets all night for your amusement.
Why do you want independence if only to remove it!?
I'm not part of the Scottish electorate. Lots of them want independence from the UK, lots of them wish to be part of the EU. You're going to have to take that up with them.
My assumption would be that they don't share your rather bizarre view that the EU is a dictatorship.

Eh? I am saying this referendum (UK OUT OF EU) has no bearing of UK inp from the EU>

Why is it YOUR God? Can't be mine, I don't believe in any God. I never posted the image. I only referred to the age range at the lower end, presumably that was the "young" people. The young people that I talked to, most of them said they would vote to remain.

  • Still waiting for that link that links votes to age groups and the points made here...

A large percentage of young people are not even on the electoral roll let alone bother to visit a polling station so how an exit poll can be seen as being representative of the views of young people in this country is beyond comprehension.

    "The youth embrace EU membership"

Erm no, only the youth the pollsters have spoken to who tend to be politically indoctrinated middle class student types anyway.
  • My assumption would be that they don't share your rather bizarre view that the EU is a dictatorship.
The crux of your POV, it is. I did not receive a ballot paper for junker, QED. This and this alone is evidence, I suggest if it not then do your own research.

And you did not receive a ballot paper to elect the Prime Minster of the UK, or the head of state of the UK.

So it wasn't the ACTUAL polling of the real referendum, which is what I said it wasn't as they are anonymous, do you understand this simple concept? Why has it taken several posts for you to acknowledge this?

OK, presume IT was, your point being?

I got a paper saying who I wanted in the UK parliament. So presumably I DID miss the Junker election? PICARD FACEPALM!

That'll be why I said you appear to fail to understand the concept of a representative democracy then won't it.

No you're quite right, the SNP don't have a majority in the Scottish Parliament, they'll have to argue the case for a second referendum. Guess people shouldn't be treating it as a foregone conclusion and attitudes could well change as everyone properly takes stock of yesterday's changes.

    Here is a link:
    http://indy100.independent.co.uk/article/how-old-people-have-screwed-over-the-younger-generationin-three-charts--W1AA_n4nEb?utm_source=indy&utm_medium=top5&utm_campaign=i100

My question is how to you feel about the older generation's votes taking the UK out of the EU against the wishes of the younger generations, who will be around far longer to face the consequences.
