I voted that way to kick the ruling elite in the balls and it worked.
I think you've cut off your nose to spite your face then.
LOL! Not really, I'm loving watching these people squirm and Brexit will create no problems for me regardless of the scaremongering, in fact we might even benefit from the bedlam that ensues.
Shocking how many socialists and so-called liberals are mourning the democratic rejection of a totalitarian capitalist entity.
its a tough one, because being an anarchist i hate the governmental and beauracratic regimes anyway. BUT i also hate the type of right wing thinking that has entered the general publics psyche perpetuated by the likes of the BNP, EDL and UKIp for decades.
Also its the uncertainty of not knowing where the poorest in the countries next meal might come from, and will the government start eroding peoples rights now they have a mandate to ditch any / all rules and regulations they dont like which came from the EU
The leave vote has nothing to do with bigoted right wing sentiment Mel, stop buying into that nonsense.
Working class people are sick of the way these politicians are treating us with contempt, this referendum has given us the chance to give them a bloody nose and we have took that opportunity.
Cameron tearfully resigning, european leaders in a state of panic, the bankers in a state of abject confusion and the celebrity 'luvvies' blubbing into their bolinger, you couldnt ask for more surely?
As for the future who knows, but sitting around moping about right wingers, the elderly and the uneducated causing this so-called 'catastrophe' isnt gonna help is it?
Those who voted to put 350 million into the NHS, or to massively cut immigration, or to take control are going to be disappointed. What happens then? Who do they blame? Themselves? The EU? The foreigners still in their midsts? Who will they turn to after they twig that it was just a different set of 'elites' who manipulated their concerns and sold them a lie? Don't be surprised it things start to turn very ugly.
I never voted for those reasons, I voted that way to kick the ruling elite in the balls and it worked.
In that case, I refer the gentleman to the comment I made earlier.
Since a lot of laws will need to be rewritten, i'm wondering how/if the rights involving employment will change, for example will the maximum working hours be changed? etc.
Once we have actually left, the government can repeal any law it likes (assuming it can get it through both houses).
So we could see many rights lost.
Of course, what actually happens is another matter.

come on, look where it all started, it STARTED with the likes of the NF, The BNP, then in later years EDL and UKIP its a right wing doctrine taken on by the general population.
The BNP wanted out of the EU back in the 80s, UKIP was started as an anti EU party. The general public have taken on the mantle as they are fed up of islamic terrorism and immigration, does that mean the population is turning more towards the right? my opinion is that it is.
and please dont educate me on what the working class is, im as white, english, male and working class as it comes ;)
its weird, why dont i feel the same as others, the ones doing the whinging about EU, Immigrants etc?? life sure aint perfect but.....
well now we'll see, it could well turn a bit worse for said working class when the tories get their claws into all the former EU laws that PROTECT the working classes, giving people rights.
and the finances of the country dont disolve
hope you gambled.....sorry voted well
Sorry Mel, but the pro-remain camp have constantly tried to insinuate those who voted leave as elderly, uneducated, bigoted, racist morons.
Vilifying people in such a way is wrong, in fact somewhat 'bigoted'.
If any 'remainer' genuinely believes 17 million people are that way inclined then they should take the opportunity to emigrate to the EU now before article 50 is invoked.

personally i dont care what the so called pro remain camp said, or for that matter what the leave camp said, i wasnt a campaigner, BOTH sides lied out of their arses. and i believe it got so personal its going to change english politricks.
I was speaking truthfully, from personal experience, the whole leave the EU thing sprang up from right wing politics.

The vote, by definition, has given more power to the ruling elite of this country not less. If we lose Scotland, which is looking likely, the Tory party will have no credible opposition. You can expect therefore them to go full steam on long term goals like dismantling the NHS, removing the minimum wage and employee rights and constructing a tax infrastructure that ensures the rich get richer and the poor suffer.
Make no mistake, it is the working classes who will suffer the most, as it always has been.
i`ve found the european reaction quite intersting today.
We had the five ( yes countem five ) foreign ministers saying the uk should hurry up and get out - from which i gather these are the only five countries whose oppinions count out of the 27 member states.
Hollande has stated that the eu should impose bad terms on the uk and Merkel seems to agree ( rather like the allies imposing sanctions on germany at the end of the WW1 ). Although the german CBI thinks the opposite of this.
Merkel was talking about now looking at member countries concerns and maybe having a two tier eu and returning powers to member states.
And finally hollande stated that it is now even more important to push the eu project ahead with further diplomatic and economic union to prevent this being able to happen again.
I personally don't want Scotland to go alone, we simply cannot sustain ourselves, we don't have the population numbers or enough stuff to export to generate a decent enough income to pay for everything. North Sea Oil prices have collapsed and already oil companies are paying people off, Aberdeen is starting to suffer.
For example, we'll lose free prescriptions because that was paid for by money from Westminster.
If we go it alone, i fear for the future of the country.
Something everyone seems to have overlooked is that the Brexit result might just be a protest against the bendy banana law.
:))^:)^
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Don't worry, you will have a jump in population as lots of English decide to move north. Actually, scrub that, worry a lot, as you will have an invasion of the English...!

Oh noes, we've made a mistake, can we have another go? >50% shouldn't be enough, let's change the rules after the vote, and demand >60% majority! (or something like that).
Sore losers, imho. Getting to vote in a referendum is a rare opportunity. Think, then act. Don't Google what just happened after you did 0 research and then went to vote. ~:>
Having looked on various forums and Twitter posts I've seen the words 'racists' and 'far right' used when describing leave voters. I think Farage is a clown and the likes of the BNP and EDL are knuckle dragging Neanderthals and I work alongside people of various nationalities and ethnic backgrounds with absolutely no problems.
However I voted leave so does that make me:
A) racist
B) merely xenophobic
C) someone who lives in an Democratic country and is free to have an opinion
Well, Karingal.. I guess there could be an international system of taxes to charge commerce transactions based on statistic parameters measuring differences in social costs amongst the countries: labour, health, education, sanitary control, pollution costs, etc
The more one country improved in these economic indicators the lessened taxes it could export with. That would be economy globalization and not just duty free access to trade with another country. With such a system probably the germans and chinese could not trade with each other initially lol so I guess it should be negotiaded a goal on these indicators to meet over time.

B*ll*cks... :)):)):)):)):)):)):))
Haha could you elaborate a bit more? I would be surprised if there aint a thesis in some university building the theory behind what i've just written while having a beer, then we'd need to approach a big wit to make campaign for this system and finally a campaign on internet to force the EU lords to discuss the matter in order to implement it on commerce treaties. Social services and labor rights cost money!

One thing which isn't clear to me is how Nicola Sturgeon, the SNP and their supporters can claim both to want an independent Scotland and to be a member of the European Union. If the aiim of the EU is to become a single unified government with the same laws applying across all the members, then how could Scotland maintain its independence? It would just become another state within the USE, implementing laws & collecting taxes determined by the Commission in Brussels. All the powers which Scotland presently has for independent action within the UK will eventually be taken from them by the federal government in Brussels. Where's the independence in that?

So no different than now then, except Scotland can do what Westminster can currently do.
Simples :D
So in a single sentence, Scotland wants independence from the control of Westminster.

It isn't and never has been.
Which one, cos that`s definately the aim of the eu
I`m not sure that scotland can go direct to the eu whilst it`s still part of the uk.
Not interfering in these issues has been the policy of the eu, which is why they wont talk with spain about gibralta nor the catalans about independence from spain and i can`t see them changing that policy.
