Sorry, but thats complete and utter nonsense, those type of people would be doing this kind of stuff regardless of any democratic vote.
More likely these episodes are orchestrated by embittered remainers or the immigrants themselves.
No one will ever be convicted of these crimes because no evidence exists to back them up.
If anything a Brexit vote should have placated such sentiment, those actions would be far more likely to occur if a remain vote had been achieved.
Again its just desperate establishment propaganda. These remain people simply cant stop telling lies, scarmongering and making stuff up.
stop being a **** idiot and use your brain, ANYBODY who reads, listens or views the media over time will have seen these types of attacks spike just after a topical news story, it happens just after Islamic terror attacks etc, pakistani shop windows smashed, mosques daubed with paint and even hindus and sikhs attacked by idiots that assume, well they look the same so they must be muslims...innit.
Now stop trying to paint EVERYTHING as a conspiracy and the brexit as a beacon of light and admit, **** happens, and youve made your bed with the thugs and right wing idiots you now need to lie in it.
as ive stated before, the brexit was a far right policy for decades, it does give a bit of a green light for certain factions to "have a go"

One small positive to take from the second article is that, so far, Lincolnshire hasn't seen the kind of incidents happening in other parts of the UK. Also on my local news the other night Lincolnshire police said that there been no reports of racist incidents in towns like Boston and Spalding, which were two of the highest percentage of Leave votes.
Those type of people are now convinced 52% of the population agree with them....
That's the problem, people who voted to leave for genuine reasons are now being pigeon holed with the moronic minority who see this as platform to air their misguided views.
Shhheeesh, Lazy people who can't google for themselves.. :))
Probably the same people who as kids copied someone elses homework too.
None of it has anything to do with emboldened Brexit voters using their new found powers to bully and intimidate.
The Manchester link was just a couple of chavs having a bit of a row on public transport, nothing new is it?
The Jamelia link is just her word for it, no evidence to back up her claim.
The Guardian link is just pro-remain propaganda with not a shred of evidence to back their claims that it was Brexiteers responsible.
These episodes would happen anyway regardless of Brexit.
Are you actually kidding?
Let's be very clear about it, the vast majority of people who voted Leave are not racist. The vast majority are utterly appalled at the horrific treatment of other people over the last few days, simply because they are being perceived by a tiny minority of small minded bigots as "not British enough", based on arbitrary and ridiculous criteria.
However nobody should be in any doubt that these kinds of crimes are happening and it is a consequence of a Leave vote. Of course the Neo-Nazi scum are going to seize the opportunity to claim that a Leave vote means that "everyone thinks like that", of course they're going to feel emboldened by such a large proportion of votes going towards a campaign largely fought on immigration. These are the lowest of the low scumbags, who will take any and every opportunity to persecute others for no real reason whatsoever.
The fact you voted Leave does not make you "one of them". The fact that an upsurge in Neo-Nazi behaviour was an inevitable consequence of a substantial Leave vote (even if they'd lost) doesn't mean you shouldn't have voted that way. But for the love of god, condemn the scumbags who do this, don't deny that it happens because that very denial gives them power.

LEAVE voters - in a few months do let us know how much larger your benefit/wage is, and in a few years let us know if the levels of immigration have changed in line with your expectations.
I'm curious if all the people who sit on their arses in sh*t CIU/working men's clubs (oh the irony), and dingy bars , drinking their govvie checks away on crap watered down sugary pound a pint Fosters, and stuffing their pennies in the fruit machine, and complaining all the foreigners have stolen all the jobs and women will get off their arses and find women and jobs if the so called massive influx of foreigners stops?........Something tells me they won't.
Something tells me they'll find another blanket excuse! Like all the young people have taken the jobs and women, or all the people with glasses have taken the jobs and women, or all the intellectuals have taken the jobs and women?
Maybe we should get rid of all these people, and send everyone else out to work the fields?

The European Union and the United States has always sponsored neo-Nazis in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine. The West has always sponsored nationalism in the countries of the Socialist Commonwealth. The goal was always the same - inciting hatred of the CCCP and Russia. Now you are reaping the fruits of your labors: Nazi chauvinists of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are now members of the European Union, and the Nazis of Ukraine, killing daily dozens of their fellow citizens - are preparing to become members of the European Union. Polish nationalism has always been supported in the UK, because he went against Rossi. Now, Your sponsored Polish nationalism turned against the European Union. You, the countries of the West, has sponsored nationalists in the socialist Hungary, and now Hungarian nationalists oppose the European Union. The US and EU sponsored nationalists in Yugoslavia, which unleashed a bloody war. The US and EU sponsored all the wars in the middle East, and now millions of people fleeing to your country from war, which You are sponsored.
From your text I understand that "You, the countries of the West" are ment here, and not the participants in the WOS forum. I therefore believe that I just have read a political statement which should not be here. Let us focus on personal expectations, worries etc.
I guess there's no point in arguing with a certain section of the "wrecks it 'ere" Brexiteers, they're so convinced that they've voted for a new Jerusalem that they can't see the storm coming. There will inevitably be job losses, prices will go up and we may dip into a short recession on the back of Brexit. We don't know half of what is going to happen yet and some of us might experience more turbulence than others. That isn't necessarily limited to people in the UK either, in our globalised world there will be ramifications everywhere.
I guess those of us that are worried should be taking steps just in case. Saving a little extra to build up a buffer, for example. In my case I've been looking to add to my somewhat battered portfolio to give it the best chance of taking advantage of any recovery in stock prices. Yields have shot up as a result of falling share prices and should I end up being made redundant the dividends will at least pay some of my bills.
The fact you voted Leave does not make you "one of them". The fact that an upsurge in Neo-Nazi behaviour was an inevitable consequence of a substantial Leave vote (even if they'd lost) doesn't mean you shouldn't have voted that way.
Someone who voted for leave and believed that there would be some sort of rise in Neo-Nazi violence as a result, but then still voted that way because of the prospect of an emotional or financial gain for themselves is... certainly in need of a period of reflection.
Some good news today but we have a long way to go. Ignore the FTSE 100 though, it really doesn't reflect the state of the UK economy. For that you really need to look at the FTSE 250 and while that has been hit by the initial shock, we'll have to wait and see how it is affected in the medium to long term.
I'm starting to think me and other people unaffected by immigration, completely dismissing people who are as racists for the last decade, instead of listening to them and trying to find some non extreme counter solution probably wasn't the best idea.
It wouldn't have made the remain vote a landslide victory but i think it would have made Farage's solution less appealing to people sick to the gills of being ignored.
Butt-hurt remainers desperate for another referendum have already converted some leave voters with this BS, all they have to do now is somehow force a 2nd referendum and the UK will be back under EU rule.
If that does happen then this supposed 'spike' in xenophobic behaviour will be nothing in comparison.
personal story about how crime is reported / dealt with and reported.
I got called into work one day at very short notice, had a drink (1 can) so wouldn't drive / had to take the bus.
a crackhead got on the bus (the same one the racist woman got on a few weeks before)..he harassed a load of people off the bus , mainly women and kids. He didn't me, because I am a bit to ugly/don't care, to put up with it.. I had headphones on at the time, and if I had heard , I might have acted a bit different.. anyway the pond life decides to light up a pipe and stink the bus out... after which he's abusive to a Muslim woman sitting in front.. "you shouldn't be here blah blah".. the bloke is black btw, pity he didn't stay at home and OD.
so what was he done for , the "smoking" .. the "harassment / threatening behaviour" or the "racist comments".. you'd hope all 3 ? nope they went after this person solely for the racism. so crimes are dealt with differently. I can give you 2 more specific examples where they wouldn't deal with crimes/criminal damage etc.. so reporting on various things isn't 100% accurate , I feel. I am not saying it doesn't happen, as it's been happening for years but some folk are using it as an excuse to kick off. much like punch up merchants who go football / marches, just for a ruck.. (a family members house was unknowingly bought off a soccer hooligan, the tabloids turned up about 6 months later looking for him)
with regards to the vote.. few are naive enough to think both lots didn't tell lies in various ways.. I even heard someone on the radio call it "exaggerating" instead of lying.
how many of those complaining about the vote *DIDN'T* vote in the first place ? (1/3 of UK at Glastonbury ? ;) )
it was close, but if it had gone the other way I'd not have been complaining and I'm not gloating either.
I will say at this time, the parties thing, that is the knock on.. if you count Boris's job as mayor as work experience.. I won't for vote him in as PM if it comes down to it. all he did was vanity projects and looked after his mates , delegated everything and knew no facts on interviews. oh and moaning about his £250k part-time / sideline job writing ? doubt anyone here would moan at that sorta money.. the bloke is funny, but he shouldn't be there for comedy value alone.
A few things about your post that hasn't made much sense to me....
You weren't bothered too much because he never picked on you and as you were wearing headphones, you never heard him, else it may have been different. Yet you heard his racist abuse toward the Muslim woman at the front of the bus.
You saw him light a pipe and stink the bus out. Did wearing headphones mess up your other senses also then?
He's black and you think it a pity he didn't stay at home and OD? I'm sure that this isn't what you meant to say, but hey ho!
Maybe it's just me thinking this thread is getting very very nasty now, and maybe time for the mighty Karingal to lock it away. This is WoSF!

Wow! That's some state of denial you're living in. In my experience, no amount of logical reasoning or evidence will make a difference to you so I'll just end this quickly by wishing you the very best of luck. You will need it.
We're all going to have to work a few more years before we can retire as billions have been wiped off the value of pensions too. It's all looking pretty grim and there's no light at the end of the tunnel. We're stuck with this situation now.
That was Monday ... This is Thursday, and there's plenty of light ... The Pound has recovered, markets around the world have recovered ... Panic has dissipated ... Optimism has been restored (if still fragile). There's still some negative aspects to the situation, eg. reduced forward investment, but overall I'm expecting it to turn out nice again.
Sturgeon has no chance of getting a separate Scottish deal on EU membership (see "Spain and France oppose Scotland EU talks" at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-36656980 ) unless Scotland becomes an independent nation first, and there's even more problems now with that idea than there was when they last voted on it.
Corbyn continues his descent down the rabbit hole (see "Corbyn to face Labour leadership challenge from Angela Eagle" at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36667795 ). Every day that goes by only serves to increase the depth of his inevitable doom. There's no way his leadership can recover from this. What's the point in hanging on?
The racist stuff going on is something that should be punished extremely harshly by the authorities, it's just not acceptable in any form.
I would like to say however that it's not just perpetrated by home grown 'talent' though, my 12 year old sons best friend is of african origin and has been abused a few times in recent months by eastern european gentlemen who like to hang around the local shops and drink a few beers after work. One incident involved one of them pulling a knife. Needless to say the poor little sod was terriffied.
The police took it 'very seriously' and have asked the getlemen to move along and not congregate there further which I think is a weak as **** response.
@death I should point out a few things to you.. this wasn't recently, was in maybe march..
1) the "idiot" having a go at the women ?... he was from the same continent as her. So him telling her that, made me think WTF moreso.
2) he started picking on the woman after he lit up the pipe and I had my headphones off by that time, the timescale in which it happened was rather quick. I was telling a kid at the time to move up the bus, when he wasn't looking. then the waster sodded off the bus
3)regardless of who he was race wise or anything else , he should have stayed at home and done his business there and yer if he had OD'd, well that was his choice of lifestyle since he thought it ok to bring his crud into the people on the buses life.. including young kids.. you want you'res to see a c-head in action?
it transpired later someone I know , knew of him. told me about how he got a neighbour of his onto that crap.. and her kids were taken into care as a result.. so yer thats why people like that don't add anything to life. her kids are suffering due to that and their mums choices.
4) found out later the idiot bus drivers let him on regularly , as someone at work has had a few run ins with him also so yer might wanna rethink your comments .. I'm the only one who bothered to report it and in full.
other people from all over the place were there race wise, didn't see any of them step forward to report it. ended up taking about 2 hours in total.. so made me think "some community spirit"
dunno where you live, but such wasters are about too much begging, street drinking and more anti social stuff and dodgy things.. you wanna start a fight with someone with a broken miniature bottle who is off his face on that crud ? didn't think so.
how crimes are reported or not at various forces, maybe not an accurate picture from my experience. if you don't understand that concept, then don't bother replying to me. I mentioned that one specifically as it had 3 elements (what he was doing / harassment to other people / racism) to it and that would should have been gone after, not just the one thing.
with regard to the vote, already stated.. people wanna kick off at football and marches etc.. and have only interest in rucks NOT the team / march... it's more of the same magnified because of the mood at the moment. some folk probably stupidly assumed things would change within days, not years.. but not everyone who voted leave were that simplistic.
May surprise you, because of my roots I got hassle the odd time in the in the mid 90's.. obviously not to the same scale.
Be careful what you wish for.
Sorry to disappoint you, but we are still in the EU and will be for at least 12 months. Maybe up to 2 years.
Depending on the trade deal done between the UK and the EU, even after we do finally leave, we may still have to comply with a lot of the EU rules. But we will no longer be able to have any say on the decision making process in making or amending any of the EU rules.

Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year :)
Although parts of the U.K. stock market (FTSE100) has seen some recovery, it's not so good for sterling on currency markets so far:- Meanwhile, the FTSE250 index, which is a better indicator for UK companies overall, is not doing as well as the FTSE100.

with regard to the vote, already stated.. people wanna kick off at football and marches etc.. and have only interest in rucks NOT the team / march... it's more of the same magnified because of the mood at the moment. some folk probably stupidly assumed things would change within days, not years.. but not everyone who voted leave were that simplistic.
May surprise you, because of my roots I got hassle the odd time in the in the mid 90's.. obviously not to the same scale.
Depending on the trade deal done between the UK and the EU, even after we do finally leave, we may still have to comply with a lot of the EU rules. But we will no longer be able to have any say on the decision making process in making or amending any of the EU rules.
So, much less democratic than being in the EU.
