Trolling and bullying people on the internet gives some people a false sense of power, if indeed we have any online power of any sort, it should be put to good use for a positive purpose. We all have our own opinions and we also have internet opinions, face to face, we would express our true opinions, albeit filtered. On the internet, the filter is not so visible, as we are not likely to suffer a punch in the face through a computer screen.

He was the guy posting links to his youtube videos going on about paedophiles and attacking WoS members. When I asked him to stop, he sent loads of abuse to me so I banned him.
some of george bum's speccy game reviews were amusing in a harmlessly eccentric old man way. used to go on a bit though... didnt know there had been some nuclear fall out or that he was banned.

It wouldn't be so bad if he tweeted with any amount of authority or knowledge but it's quite clear he's being fed info by someone with a vested interest in the Vega+ failing.
The info is almost all false and when the Vega+ is released towards the end of next month is going to look extremely silly.
It's only really George Bum and NickH who are publicly opposing the Vega+ and both are being fed propaganda by the same person. George is such a loose cannon and inept debater that he's just been banned from Facebook for 3 days due to the fact he can't argue rationally and resorts to abuse, obscenities and insults.
There is no rumour mill - it's one person and several puppets. How about if everyone concentrates on the C64 project that has zero chance of having nearly £160k molds made with a £100k budget. Nobody is going nuts about the money there are they?
I put money up for one, and I have every faith that I will get it in September. No shots from the factory does seem unusual though. When the Pi was being developed there were loads of shots from the factory. I've no knowledge of the C64 device. The misleading legal issues have caused more people to question so it would seem a sensible move to show something in production especially inlight of the comments on the inidigogo page and the departure of some of the original team.
PS. I will being selling it straight away and putting the money towards a next.

I tweeted back to him "Didn't you tell everyone you were quitting?" Deleted it now though as life's way too short to argue with trolls.

Shut them down, don't acknowledge them, they're really not worth it and I certainly wouldn't be remotely concerned by any of their 'statements'.
As long as they can see they're having an impact, they'll keep on spouting their bile.
