Red Dead Redemption Loading Screens
I had a wee bit of time to kill so rather than start painting, what I should be doing seeing as the paintings are a birthday present, I created these.
Nothing too taxing (although, the 3rd one was more difficult than I wanted it to be) and just to keep the fire's burning with regards to Spectrum graphics. Based on the official artwork, it ended up being an exercise in only using 4 colours.
These are my companion pieces to my Edge's GTA Vice City artwork. I can now leave Rockstar games behind for a while.

You mean 7 colours ( )
( Technically it's 8 colours if you include BRIGHT-black. -Ed) )
My games for the Spectrum: Dingo, The Speccies, The Speccies 2, Vallation, SQIJ.

It was always my intention that these were just going to be "quickies". I started them late on Sunday there.
I have to admit, I nearly threw the towel in in this one a couple times. I had a clear idea how I wanted it to look and it was hard work, especially, like I said, they were intended to be done quickly. I persevered, though, thankfully.
This is the 3rd piece of Rockstar related stuff I was working on :
1. Edge GTA Vice City cover
2. "Making Of...." Feature for my Edge cover, which should hopefully be appearing on Edge's website soon.
3. Red Dead Redemption loading screens for my own portfolio.
I've seen a lot of lazy loading screens and a few good ones over the past few years. This is impressive and extremely well done.
I'll get these up on the ZX Art website, which will also have the SCR files.
I've been asked to do the same with my Vice City ones by including the logo and I'll get to that soon.
Full details can be found here.
Great art, BTW.
