Whatever happened to Derek Brewster?

So many of the heroes of the Spectrum era have faded into the shadows. But what became of Derek? 'Prolific' doesn't even begin to describe him. Aside from his pages in Crash, he was one hell of a coder - Codename M.A.T., Kentilla, and plenty of others.

And yet - he seems to have vanished.

I often wonder about him and the other stars of the day who were household names; at least if your household included a Spectrum owner.

    I know he set up a budget label, that released his old games as their first titles. No idea after that.
