Disappearing wossers

I have noticed over the last few months that more and more wossers have stopped posting, it's getting worrying that there may be only about 10 active members left.
Where has Grey Key, Mile, ADJB, Bermondsey Bob, Green Card, DEATH, THX1138, Starglider and Dr BEEP all went?
Soon it'll just be me, Polo, Morkin & Boozy left to keep the Speecy flag flying.

    Grey Key? I think he's probably surpassed Mile's post count over the last few months :-)

    I don't post so much now, maybe it will become more apparent why , in the future.. or maybe I'm afraid of the saucer thread ;)

    the usefulness of this place is limited as a resource now, which is a pity.

    I've been trying to contact ADJB about the pres. shop (offering help to get it back), but according to the stats, he last posted June 2015!

    Perhaps you should start a thread giving encouragement and or welcome to current/newer members rather than repeating a M.I.A thread every so often, it would make the site seem more forward looking, rather than bewailing old "friends". Welcoming back someone who hasn't posted in five years like they are the second coming or a long lost family member is not really welcoming to new lurkers honestly, they may just think this a private club rather than an open forum.

    No offence intended no flame war etc just a newbies opinion and reaction to this post nothing more. :)

    Actually looking at zx1's post again.

    Grey key left, and came back, and left, and came back again. Mile....Well I kind of know his reasons for leaving....Bob, and Greencard have both posted in the last week or so I think? DEATH was about not long ago. THX well he is one that seems to have vanished? Dunno about him? Starglider posted not long ago as well....and Dr. BEEP is a politician now, I don't think he has time for Speccy stuff any more, but he has posted since he announced that a few times. I think he still likes to mess around with 1k games and the like?

    Well, it's a fact that number of posts per day on WOS is nowadays significantly lower than 10 or 5 years ago. It could be possible to do some data mining but I guess that we agree here.

    One reason is people getting older, having less enthusiasm, more tired, bored, having less to say and moving on. And some are no longer with us.

    Another reason is this website and community being crappier than before.

    I don't post as much as I did but it tends to be a bit feast or famine with me. I lurk just as much though :)

    Hmm..if you look at members list and sort by last visit...there is no shortage of traffic.

    It's the same on nearly every forum I used to visit..dying a death. Probably due to selfie addiction sites or Arsebook. I don't think this place is fading. In the grand scheme, it's doing better than most 'ancient' forums...by ancient..I mean from the golden age of forums..over 10 years ago.
