Ace coming along nicely.

edited July 2005 in Sinclair Miscellaneous

Update on current works,
Ace has about 20 issues left to scan, I am currently
on the look out for the following .

Issues 47,49,50,51 and 52
the music tape from issue 20 and the
radio ace tape from 21 as mp3s and a scan would be
great. And any cover booklets as most appear to be
missing from my old set.

Computer gamer,
Issues 2-4,9,12,13,14-19,20 onwards

Any help ie lending, scanning or borrowing would be
appreciated, and I would pay full postage and free dvd
of the finished set (or another set of your choice if
you are impatient )

Cheers Stephen :)

I have some issues of Ace, Mort - I'll take a look through them at the weekend to see if I have any of the missing ones.

    Thanks Lee,
Getting close to getting them all scanned, the 50,s issues I will only need to do a few pages of each as the person I bought them off cut out various coupons etc :)

Incidentally (while I'm here), WOS's Crash scans appear to be missing pages 17 to 30 of issue 65. Deliberate, or mistake? :)

Some mishtake! I would think as they are present on the dvd and cd`s here. Will resend them onto Martijn if he needs them :)

True, but we're as yet uncertain whose - all pages appear to be in the archive ;)

Yes, my bad - sorry. The problem isn't as bad as I thought. Only page 30 is missing - the file in the archive is actually a duplicate of page 17.

I was viewing the pages 'side by side' like they would have been in the original magazine and leapt to an (incorrect) conclusion when I noticed the page numbers jumped from 17 to 31.

I guess I just couldn't bring myself to believe that there were only 36 pages, although I do remember buying this issue and being so disgusted that I stopped buying the magazine altogether unless there was something on the tape that I wanted. :)

    Sorry, chaps.

Page 30 has kindly been replaced by Mort in the mean time. Cheers, Lee!
