    I'll be first then lol.

First impressions tell me that this is going to be quite an addictive game. The soundtrack is pretty decent too (when you get killed, it sounds like an arcade game IMO). Pretty basic concept - go round collecting goodies (junk) and run back to your hut for points...but very enjoyable.

Pretty sure I remember playing this when I was younger, although I don't think I was into it at the time.

Interested in next weeks choices - some damn fine games there that could be nominated!

I've played this before, and I have to say I quite like it. The graphics are nice and detailed, the music is good (though can be annoying after a while), and the game play is indeed quite addictive.

The arcade version is the one I remember most, and I have that now on MAME. The Speccy version is on the whole a good conversion, IMO.

I'll play it over the next week as usual and see how I feel about it at the end.

Not played this one at all - will give it a go at lunchtime. It can't possibly be worse than Gilbert. :)

One of the few original games I used to have.
But it never appealed to me much.

I already gave it a go: it's nicely done under every aspect, but I don't like the gameplay - going around collecting objects is quite repetitive. Being killed by stupid birds that suddenly appears out of nowhere when the screen is scrolling is irritating, also.

I don't think I will return on this one, it just reminds me I should have given 8 to Gilbert.

You are quite clearly insane, my friend. ;)

I really wanted this game when it came out in the 80s as it looked promising in the magazines(screenshots) and I also got it a little while later. If I remember correctly, then it's very playable. Will surely try it out this evening again.

I've only ever played the C64 and arcade versions of this game and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was an obscure arcade licence (probably why it ended up in the Silver range!) but a good game nevertheless.

    8/10 for me

It's a social service. Somebody has to give work to the doctors.

I've had a couple of shots and really enjoyed it. It's like a breath of fresh air after Gilbert.

Weirdly, this was an arcade conversion initially-released as a budget title. Did that happen to any other conversions?

Only one other I can think of - Motos by Mastertronic. Another excellent little game!

Motos is fantastic - one of my all-time favourite arcade-to-Speccy conversions!

Initial playing of Peter Pack Rat has proven very promising - it's a tidy little game. But I'm crap at it. Can't get past stage 2. :)

The graphics in stage three are a bit confusing.

This is great, actually. Still can't get past stage 3 but I've managed to ratchet-up a score of 12,000 or so.

I think Bosconian was like that as well. Not that it was any good...

unfortunately I couldn?t get to play the club games for several weeks, just to briefly look at them to see what game was actually chosen and that?s all...
today it?s first time after this unpleasant period of being affected with ?working worm? so I enjoyed playing once again: it started obviously by loading into the emulator on ?realtime speed? ;) - what a shock: I experienced the Bleeploading routine for the first time in my life - and it is really unbearable! gosh.. totally annoying. nevermore! :)

ok - then the game: I?ve tried it some months ago after being it mentioned in certain ?looking for? thread - the guy couldn?t get the name of the game and he could use just vague description - the main character of the game resembled him ?winged angel? - what a surprise when we found out that the angel is a rat! ;)

oki: the game looks fine - nice graphics, really playable - I like it. besides stupid birds, flies and other baddies - they?re simply too unavoidable. too hard to handle them... well, until I found out they can be shot and used as a cargo carrier... :) nice

well...and the music: I always switch to 48k model :D old love never dies - I don?t bother myself with 128k unnecessarily... :D

nice game for playing and for pleasantly wasted time. reminds arcade games.
