Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. Then again it's better to know that you'll like them before shelling out the cash.
I just bought the Hitchhiker's TV series on DVD. Superb, but then I already knew I liked it. Someone new to it might think it dated etc. etc. Shame Sandra D put the trousers on after the first coupla scenes.
Haven't listened to all but the first few seconds but it sounds better than my old TDK D90's from the radio oh so many years ago.
The sample rate is definitely not HIFI which is a pity as I would have preferred 196kbps rather than 64kbps. But as it's a radio drama and not a symphony performance it's definitely good enough.
WHSmith also tells me that there is a CD box set of all five radio series due to be released in October priced at the rather mind-boggling cost of ?80!

Buy the CD's of the radio series' they are far more enjoyable.
Especially the Tertiary, Quandary and Quintessential Phases.
