Very underrated machine, with great potential.
In my case, great deal of nostalgia and tons of good memories.
I am very glad, that he is still live and kicking. :)

From the ZX81 forum....

Page two of the thread has a nice explanation of how it was created.
Its a really exceptional game.

How could I even think, that its useful to announce ZX81 game on the most famous Sinclair related website. ;)
http://zx-pk.ru/
Useful to announce on a ZX81 site yes, but a site dedicated MAINLY to the Spectrum HMMM.
Nobody at all including the odd WOS member saw fit to announce it so guess we all feel the same way, remember the author himself didn't mention it here but hey we are all wrong you must be right so apologies from us all for not sending a PM. :))
If you are so in love with the 81 as you claim to be.....

Then perhaps come and join the ZX81 forum and you won't miss out on all the great stuff going on there and YOU can announce all the latest Spectrum games nobody announced to us on theZX81forum at the same time. :)
I enjoy a good debate as long as we keep it civil Pegaz and remember it's only a game not a cure for cancer so lets both chill if we discuss life's too short to argue. :)
If you think otherwise, it's just your opinion and doesnt make it a rule.
Life is also too short to regularly visit a bunch of forums, especially when we have one like this, where it gathers the most of Sinclair fans.
btw, enjoying good debate, requires at least, that we express our personal opinion.
Unless we are of royal descent, because they prefer to speak of himself in the plural. :)

I never said my opinion makes it a rule but then neither does yours unless you are now running the forum?
If you don't want to visit a bunch of forums then expect to miss things because not everyone is coming running to make announcements just for you, take it up with the author of the game if you are that bothered.
As for your last statement about royal descent and speaking in the plural that makes no grammatical sense at all so I will put that down to your lack of English. :)
This site is run by many plurals so by all means we will graciously consider your (a)rss aggregator suggestion

I never expected or asked you to make any announcements for me or anyone else.
In fact, I thought it useful to mention good zx81 game here, as has been done many times on WOS before.
Its not a matter of my or your opinion, but a fact, which is easy to check with the search option and then you will realise, that zx81 is here at home.
After all, if you dont find useful such announcements (even very good games like this), nobody's forcing you to participate in the thred like this.
btw...
Yes, my English sucks, but I'm just impressed, how you know what others think and talk on their behalf. :)

I think this one has run its course so time to end it I think and life is too short to argue with each other. :)
My Sincere apologies for insulting your English which was a bad thing to do in future I should remember to help non English speakers not insult them so once again apologies. :)
If see anything on the ZX81 forum of interest I promise to give a shout here too!!
Take care Pegaz.
Moggy.
Sometimes misunderstandings happen, despite the best intentions.
Cheers. :)

By the way, does the ZX81 have demos (you know, like on the Spectrum/C64/Atari ST/Amiga, etc, where programmers show off their prowess and push the hardware?
ZX81 has a demos, you can see some of the best on youtube.
Mostly working with 16K but I think the most impressive is the Dragons Lair, which requires zxpand interface:
http://zx-pk.ru/
He uses low res for the 81 but the end result is well worth a look.
Here is his site for those not aware of it..

One of the better demos by Bodo Wenzel, can be seen here....
and is available as a P. file here..

Works with Zxpand using the "X" command which allows correct graphics or with as hi res modified 16K 81.
