  • So the experience wasn't traumatic at all?

I was expecting you to get strapped into a chair while some Troglodyte called Henry kicked your tooth out with a giant steel toe-capped Doctor Martin Boot ;)
    Every night is curry night!
  • That was a film, silly !
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........

That's me back now. The injection was very painful but the actual extraction only took about 45 seconds.

Told yer! Extractions are way easier than most people expect. :)

Was it top or bottom jaw? Bottom jaw is normally simple to numb up. I've had injections for the top jaw teeth through the palette, and that hurts like hell.

    Later renamed to Snicker Man....

Glad that you've got that tooth removed.

  • Was it a wisdom tooth? Without all that wisdom you might become a C64 owner!

    Was the bottom jaw.
Now getting some pain but guess who forgot to buy painkillers! I've only got asprin, and it says to avoid them as they cause bleeding.
The thing now is to keep the mouth clean to avoid infections and soft food only for a few days.
I've also developed a sore throat for some reason, very odd.
    The trouble with tribbles is.......
  • Are you gargling with warm salt water? That's what I was advised to do after extractions. That reduces swelling, aids the healing process and does help with the pain a little.

  • Don't like whisky.
I'm wondering why I've developed a sore throat since the tooth was removed, could be a sign of infection which could be nasty :(
