  • I like most of the factions to be honest, but I'm a sucker for some mellow chimes, flute and sax loops, and fast, quiet but complex drums, over a good solid, but not overly aggressive bassline.
funnily enough that pretty much exactly describes this compilation :)

  • Fugazi - Marillion
  • Nice mix GC. summer vibes. I love the sample that first tune uses on the intro (dave grusin - modaji) it's in quite a few hip hop tunes too... also really like that alix perez/ivy lab tune. I did buy the track No One Else off that EP when it came out. good stuff :)

Yup, same here. That pretty much sums up my preference of D&B to a tee. :)

Sorry, totally missed this post! Yeah I must say I'm liking a lot of what I hear from Alix Perez/Ivy Lab. Got another couple of their tunes I want to use in future mixes. Cheers Chris, glad you like it. :)

Hey, part of that near the middle end reminds me of that car commercial from a few years back. It's eerily similar!
    edit 6 - Lament I, "Bird's Lament" - 19:47
But what's the name of the song in the car commercial. Anyone here know what song I'm talking about? It's definitely based off of this one.

Sorry, don't know. The video is blocked in my country. Come to think of it, I believe it was for a Lincoln or at least some American car. edit It was before 2010 and I am awful at searching the y'tubes as I'm not finding it.
