  Scottie_UK's idea is good. Or go with my idea, which is a loading screen loading, you know, so it loads in intermittent lines. Alright, so it's small enough that you probably couldn't get a great representation of a well known Speccy loading screen, but just make it a black box with the Speccy's four colour sprites on it. Or just the Miner Willy sprite, as to many of us, that's perpetually associated with the Spectrum, so do a loading screen type effect on the Miner Willy sprite.
