Can anyone help me identifying a chip?
I have a Tiger LCD hand-held game which is malfunctioning and I am trying to put it back in working order, but it seem more difficult than I first thought, if not impossible...
Anyway, apart from 2 caps, 4 diodes and 1 transistor I already managed to identify there is an aditional 18 pin IC that only has writen on the top "4-792601-01".
What is it? Is this some custom chip that was made for Tiger? I can't seem to find any information about it and don't have any clue.
I would appreciate any help or comment, please.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought "I wonder how long it'll take until someone post a photo of some fries"
I'm not disappointed :))
I'm afraid I am.
Have you searched to see if anyone else has had the same problem?

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb!
Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year :)
thats the self replicating one.. 1 day you put one in a box, 2 days later you have 10. bit like mushrooms, just not so good in casserole etc. bit errr cardboardy.
are there any handheld forums etc you can go on? it's always the way with such things. or they scratch the ID off the IC etc.
