  • I thought the Justins almond butter on the ham sandwich was weird, but Tapatio Hot Sauce on a Rice Krispy Treat?

I think he's trying to tell us he need help... ;)

Burgers and salad. Was considering burger and chips but thought I'd replace the chips with a second burger as I've got four of them and need to eat them all (they're the refrigerated ones, not the frozen ones).

The second burger deserves the 'Ninja burger award'...

That one look OK, if a little small.

No idea what the others are...

Yes, it was hiding under a mountain of fried onion rings and some very questionable cheese...

  • mmmm Hot Sauce..... </me drools>
    So far, so meh :)
  • It is actually very tasty!
Due to a prolonged health issue, my doctor told me that I need more vegetables, protein, and yes oddly enough, hot sauce. I have never been big into hot sauce of any sort but I am hoping this will keep me on this side of living for a while longer :D

That's what happens when you live on a limited budget, haha! :D
You learn to pick your fats, carbs and proteins more carefully.

    What now?
  • I'd eat the Taco Salad if it didn't have sour cream or feta on it :p
    Every night is curry night!
  • Them's the doc's orders, honest guv!
I have to mix things together if I have to force some of that stuff down my throat. Best to hide it with hot sauce or gooey cheese.

    What now?
  • I usually do that with sprouts at Christmas (mix stuff together).

I've said it before in this thread, but I've observed that people's eating habits are split into two groups: those who mix their food together on the fork before putting it in their mouth and those that eat a morsel of each individual item on the plate.

Those who fall in the latter category are weird.. :P
  • I've just had a Steak Burrito from Chipotle....Jeez! It looked pretty big, but I feel like I've just eaten a small child :))

  • In a way you have, because come morning, you will be dropping the kids off at the pool.

Right now some white corn tortilla chips with Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper salsa.

It's pretty hot for a veteran hot food idiot like me, but I expect for somebody who doesn't do spicy eating this stuff may be a genuinely terrifying experience.

It says "Hot" on the jar, usually though everybody know that means "Pfffft we're jumping on the band wagon, and anybody who likes hot will laugh at us"....No, no, no I bought this stuff a few years back....and it's not for pussies :))

  • I had some chicken for dinner. Pic will follow when i can be bothered to post it! :))

  • Tonights scoff. Chilli with a baked potato and a shedload of salad (well, mostly dressing):

  • I'd remove mostly salad, especially the dressing :p

But aye! That looks quite nice that does :)
    Every night is curry night!
  • That is about four meals worth for me, the trouble is with food, if for instance it is risotto or something similar, every mouthful tastes the same, after a few mouthfuls I get bored with it. The exception is Curry, I could eat that every day and paella but I add so many elements to it that every mouthful has the potential of tasting very different.

It is different taking a pill with a full meal in it, no wait, no cooking, no washing up, no wasted time ! Roll on the time when we get them, although this thread would be quite funny, with a little pill and a mile long description of what it is.

" Look at this Pizza pill I had yesterday " Oh that looks good enough to eat, a little burned round the edges, call the food police "

Is the former category addressing those who try to put a tiny bit of everything on the fork at once, or those who combine an arbitrarily varying sub-set of the items from the plate into each mouthful?

And is the latter for those who move between items with each mouthful, or the really weird ones who eat the entire portion of each item before moving onto the next? Because that is downright alien.

  • I fall into the last category but only with sunday roasts. I don't do that with anything else.
    Every night is curry night!
  • Had this over the weekend.

4-egg omelette with bacon, tomato, onion and cheese. Plus a bit of toast.

The Burnt Food Council approves - nicely done without any bit having turned to charcoal!

  • Yes, but Morkin will soon point out that there are four bits of toast

Saving the majority of your roast potatoes or Yorkshire pudding until last is perfectly acceptable.
Though making extra helpings of both, plus gravy, and leaving them in the oven to keep warm until needed would show better planning.
