  • The Blues make me sad !
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
  • dont really listen to full-on "woke up this mornin" type blues, but I guess I like a lot of stuff that would be called blues-y...

  • The only blues I listen to is Robert Cray, Ten Years After and Jimi Hendrix. I prefer to listen to players that are influenced by blues rather than the purists.
    The trouble with tribbles is.......
  • cant stand any of ywyngwie malmsteen's neo-classical/metal nonsense he puts on his records, but i found this vid of him doing sone blues soloing a while back and hes good imo

  • Damn the lord knows this guy sang fine
  • I don't like blues.

It's depressive, monotonous and everybody who preforms it is old or neglected or both.

Who the **** dislikes this? Look the gal permormers, they seem quite healthy and clean to me and when I say healthy I really mean "healthy"

Wow! Are there any musical style that you dislike, Mel? :)
  • Define miserable soda diet? verbi gratia, habit of consuming Bloody Marys on the road rather than solid food so as not to waste time to set up performances

  • Nice one Mel, great voice that guy has. Dont forget Peter Green's original Fleetwood Mac before they became Plastic Mac

oh yeah, another one i learnt from mi dad, again he loved Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, mi dad was agrophobic for a couple of decades so back in the early 90s he asked me to buy him their album with Oh well (parts 1 and 2 on) so i bought him that greatest hits live one, which i got after he died, aswell as later he'd bought the same album on cd so i have it on cd too now.

some great tracks on it, from their bluesy period
