Great song and video... I don't have a coat, so I'll just slip away quietly into the shadows of the night.

  • What now?
  • Ye Gods! What's happening to us? All these bizarre weirdoes - still - come to think of it, remember Tiny Tim?
  • I was/am astonished at how many examples of awful bloody music you chaps found! Thank heavens I don't listen to the radio or internet radio music any more. The last album I bought was AC/DC Live at Donnington. and the one before that was Deep Purple Perfect Strangers just to show how out of touch I am.
  • licky bum bum down

I love that song! :) Absolute cheese and cringe is beyond judgement.

That whole album is a very guilty pleasure of mine. I was listening to it just the other day. No idea why I'm admitting this here! :D

You are kidding, right? I mean we're talking about that 'licky bum bum' thing? Jesus! Where to start, still on the other hand...no, personal opinions should be sacrosanct. I'm sure I could provide favourites that would be similarly surprising and no doubt cast nasturtiums on my taste or lack of same. After all in my youth I bought Connie Francis' ' Robot Man' and Lonnie Donegans 'My old mans a dustman' and Paul Anka's 'Diana' which is probably the lowest of them all. Oh and lets not forget 'Sparky and his magic piano' on 78's no less. Mind you I was about 8 years old to ask for that one as a prezzy.
  • I've got a few more

Bette Midler - From a Distance
Color me Badd - I wanna sex you up
    R Kelly - I believe I can fly
    Aqua - Barbie Girl
Will Smith - with any of his crap songs
Michael Bolton - with any of his crap songs (and hair)
Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Sh*te (This song really annoys me)
Children of the Corn (Hanson) - Mmmbop (Now this song REALLY annoys me)

  • edited June 2017
cant argue with any of those. - except the bette midler song which ive never heard.

cant stand will smith. hes like the robbie williams of rap. I especially hate that Welcome To Miami song, which sampled a great song (patrice rushen - forget me nots) and somehow managed to make it sound crap! his presence alone on anything is enough to make a track rubbish.

I'm afraid I'm not kidding. :D I was around 12 years old when the album came out, so it's an album that takes me back to my childhood, a reminder of good times had. :)

Hoddle and Waddle! My God talk about inviting unkind remarks with names like that. Such as "I'm not surprised he's waddling after ..." and various politically incorrect, insensitive insinuations and Savage comments of a similar nature which I would never dream of making but I'm sure others already have. Oooh, that's so savage of you, you beast! Probably another bloody ex-Marine war hero too I suppose?

  • Richard Marx: Right here waiting for you. I want to f*cking shoot a bucket full of newborn puppies with a 12 gauge every time I hear that song!

Although anything by that twunt makes me a bit murderous tbh :))

So that's your standing order at Walmart for the daily bucket of newborn puppies on the home delivery service..... Great price at $5 a bucket though.

  • Jennifer Rush's The Power of Love. Every time I hear that song (fortunately not often) I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. I might have mentioned it on here before, but my mother recorded the single onto a C90 cassette, both sides, and played that f***ing track all day long for nigh-on two years.

Has anyone mentioned Joe Dolce's Shaddap You Face yet? What a travesty that was, famously keeping Vienna from getting to No 1.
  • Ah Joe Dolce - I think he was actually from Australia.

    quoted for evidence.

...may be used against you in future. :))

Men In Black sampled Patrice Rushen, Miami sampled The Whispers (And The Beat Goes On). :)
