Is it sad that the only game for the switch that's really interesting me now is yet another re-release of Street Fighter 2? :))

Violent Ken though! Violent KEN!!! :))

One thing I did notice though it's about $20 cheaper than all the other switch games, still not sure even if I had a Switch I'd be willing to pay $39.99 for SFII.....again?

cant believe ive still got to wait about 4 months or so for Mario Odyssey, thought for some reason it was out in June Oo

  • It was probably supposed to be out in June, but Nintendo haven't really been the best at coming up with the goods in recent years, they're almost getting as bad as mid 90's Sega :))

never played the other versions, supposed to be a good indie game, comes with a soundtrack cd too apparently

  • I love reading those Nintendo manuals that have all the health & safety warnings regarding flashing lights, buggered wrists, poor eyesight and don't use the console when driving / walking on the pavement / parachuting / swimming / in the bath / during thunderstorms or during a heart surgery. Don't eat the batteries, insert them carefully and the right way, don't mix the types, cross the streamers or take them apart.

  • That Floor Kids looks strangely tempting, when I saw the art style, and that it looked kiddy as anything I expected poo.

Yet I kind of want it now, obviously so I can play as the nutty looking Japanese kid, I could barely do 1990's when I used to break years ago, but the amount that kid is throwing out would make me puke, too much spinning :))

Couldn't give a flying about Super Meat Boy though.

  • by the way, does anybody know you can "link" your switch carts to your nintendo account and get gold coins to "buy" goodies, although the goodies look like shitties LOL, its mostly all percents off a game rather than a freebie etc.
And most seem to be for wii u or NDS

my NDS isnt online, and not even used mi wii u yet let alone get it online LOL

  • Nah, this one's nothing like the WiiU, if anything they still can't keep up with demand. It's had, in my opinion, the two best games of the year in Zelda and Mario Kart and I still use mine a hell of a lot - when I get a chance with the kids on Mario Kart. Mario Odyssey is out next month and looks to be another best game ever in the making.

I think it's going to sell in huge numbers come Xmas, it just needs a load more third party games that aren't s*it-ware like 99% of the Wii's. And it needs an internet browser and all the other gubbins for it to be used as my main tablet. Can't see that happening though.

Yeah my son has one, first time I looked at I said where's the browser? I couldn't believe they'd created such a nice device and didn't put an internet browser on it.

    Extremely narrow minded. Extremely Nintendo.
I wanna tell you a story 'bout a woman I know...
  • I think Nintendo still mainly see their consoles as mainly for games and not multi-media devices.
  • yeah im a bit disapointed there isnt a browser as its great at connecting to the net, but all i can do is look at new game clip videos in the shop LOL

Yeah, just seems like a great opportunity missed.

    Typical Nintendo.

  • I don't know about a browser... I remember using the browser on the DSLite, and it was just so slow and so incompatible with everything, that I don't think Nintendo should put a browser on their machines ever again.

It would just prove how slow their hardware is and it will also never have enough features like a real browser has, or ad blocking.

To be fair I wouldn't care if it had a browser or not, I've not used the actual browser on my PS3 or PS4 ever. Seems like a waste of space to be honest, especially when all the stupid sites that people would use it for like Hulu, Netflix, and Youtube, all come preloaded as their own separate little "app" as it were.

Which incidentally I also think are a waste of space, but I suppose it's nice to have the option available for those that don't. Much in that respect the consoles are getting as bad as brand name PC's though, loaded with drive hogging sh*te you don't want, or need.

Whatever happened to being able to choose if you want that crap, and get it yourself? I vaguely remember a time many moons ago where if you wanted a program you could get it yourself. I understand the rather thin concept of convenience in this case, but I find it more of an annoyance than anything else. I'd rather pick and choose what I do want than have to remove everything I don't.

Maybe they'll make them available over time, I remember the Netflix disc for the original Wii, after 2009 that thing pretty much lived in the Wii, until every single device known to man (Well apart from the Switch :p ) came preloaded with it.

I remember when I got that disc it was great, 2010 was the year my wife got stranded at my mothers house for 3 months and left me here, and I was still part time at work, and they had hardly any hours available so I spent pretty much 3 months playing sh*t games, and watching sh*t films, and ancient episodes of Doctor Who. While the wife, and my mother argued daily, about insignificant crap.

Pity the Wii was sh*t though I barely played any games on it after 2010 :))

Although it did get a slight revival a couple of years back when the nephew discovered lots of cheap Ninja Turtle games for it....

Why do all the games that aren't Nintendo's big stars look like games you could buy for 6 quid on PSN, or XBOX live? :))

It's like they haven't learned a damn thing, let's put the Indie games in boxes and sell them for full price! Hooray!
