With the recent passing of Lady Lucan it will be quite interesting to see if any fresh evidence as to where Lord Lucan fled to comes to light, such as any letters that he may had sent to her which she had kept secretly.
Yeah just saw this now, the Wilburys lose another member....
Although I think I killed another celeb by proxy. In the car yesterday they were playing Roy Orbison's solo version of Handle with Care on the radio, and I was telling the wife how weird of a super group I thought the Travelling Wilburys were.
I was very lucky to be at one of his shows at Shepherds Bush Empire (London) back in 1999. A great show indeed.
Thank you for all of your great songs.
R.I.P Tom Petty.
There are reports coming out he may not be dead yet, LAPD refuse to confirm his death. It is said though that if he is still alive he will only last a day or so.

Awww, really like a lot of Tom Petty stuff, after listening to the 1993 Greatest Hits. Also love The Wilburys. One of my fave Heartbreakers songs is Refugee. Tom was proper Rock Royalty :)
Sorry to hear about Tom Petty - another Wilbury gone :'(
Although around the time of the Wilburys, Jeff Lynne changed Petty's solo and even the Heartbreakers work to sound more like him - which is what Lynne does to everyone he works with. I didn't mind, because I love Jeff Lynne and it produced some of Petty's biggest and catchiest hits, but they were somewhat less gritty and raw than his other work.
The Traveling Wilburys were fantastic though. Only 2 left now - I suspect Lynne will be the last, as he's a fair bit younger than Bob Dylan. Mind you, Petty was youngest of them all, so who knows? :-O
