Maybe it's the recent domestic situation of living with a lady, but I've really got into baking.

I've always liked cooking manly stuff like chilli, curries, roasts, BBQs etc but recently (and, in no way related to Mary Berry and the 'popular' tv shows etc) I've been trying my hand at a bit of bakery.

Recent efforts have been cookies and chocolate-coated flapjack. Easy stuff to begin with, but I'm loving it. I normally don't really have a sweet tooth, but I'm finding it a great way to relax after work. My girlfriend is loving it and I'm taking my bounty into work and they love it too.

I'm looking to move into pastry soon.

Anyone else liking the flour/sugar/butter/syrup game?
