Factory(/work?) simulation games
How many have there been?
On the speccy, I can think of:
Technician Ted
Night Shift (the other game with lemmings)
Factory Breakout
Automania
On the general work, rather than factory-specific, theme: Everyone's a Wally
Any more? :)

How many....?!
And similarly, Hewson Consultants' Heathrow Air Traffic Control / Heathrow Radar / whatever they're calling it today.
And also similarly, Nightflite I / II or, indeed, any flight simulator, seeing as you're doing what a pilot does at work.
Lawn Mower (1983)
Advanced Lawnmower Simulator (1988)
Advanced Lawnmower Simulator II (1990)
I didn't knew there was a sequel! :D
1) Factory specific
2) Work or occupation specific
3) Work Sims
4) Work related management games
5) Part time work (did the gig economy exist back then?)
6) Something slightly work related ! (OK only kidding!)
And nothing on alienation in the work environment ! Is there an exploitation work related theme . That would have been a "risky roll out" but did anyone try it? Was there a game called "Stakhanovite Stan" in the mines? (just joking) The PC has a good "bureaucratic" one called "Passports Please" which is a laugh.
It is a great list and who cares about the grey areas ? I wonder how many more categories of Spectrum games can be "classified up" in this way?
Ah yes, Alien 8 — that was sort-of a work simulation. ;)

Lazy Jones.

Give my Regards to broad Street.
Rockstar ate my hamster.
Basically you could bend the rules to fit any management, or construction type sim, or even games involving sports.
Park Patrol
The Incredible Shrinking Fireman
Robocop
Otherwise it becomes hazy. I'm sure the protagonists of Green Beret and Commando are mainly motivated by the desire to draw a monthly wage.
