Manchester flea markets

I'm coming home to Manchester to vist for 2 weeks in October and would like to pick up some speccy/QL gear if possible.

Its been 8 years so I'm a bit out of touch with the second hand situation..if there is any.

Does anyone in the area know of any flea markets or retro shops around Manchester that I could likely pick some stuff up at (besides Ebay). If you do please PM me or post here, thanks.

    What are you actually after ?

    I have got a lot of spare stuff which will be going up for sale soon so I could probably knock a package up for you. Sure something could be worked out.

    Well, nothing in particular. Just figured I would 'stock up' while Im over in England.

    Microdrive carts,
    Some games, particularly, Lords of midnight, doomdarks, nightshade, pentagram etc
    Maybe an interface 2 as one of the ports on mine is screwed, hmm a spec-drum.
    Then some QL software and a miracle trump card.

    Really anything that takes my fancy thats why I wanted to rummage rather than ebay (I already have some ebay stuff lined up at my parents house I had shipped to them).

    So...if you have anything on that list let me know and we can work something out with paypal and ship to my parents.

    If you are getting a list together of stuff that would be good to look at.

    Yeah, I have one as well and they really are shit. Cost me ?30, complete waste of money.

    There's a massive car boot sale in Chelford, a few miles south of Manchester in Cheshire every Sunday. I went myself the other week and it was impressive. Took me three hours to walk around every stall! Loads of cars and people, not much retro on that occasion but got a Megadrive for ?1 and a old Grandstand console with a gun thingy for ?2. Well worth a visit!
