I am amazed that my machine runs this game at all, seeing as it's almost a decade old.
I used to play multiplayer games more in the 90s and early aughts. Mainly Doom, Quake, HL, etc.

I am evidently too old to play this game, I get eliminated with about half the players gone. And the only reason why I "survive" as long as I do, is because I don't meet anyone up until then. Meaning, it's the first person to meet me who eliminates me.

*sigh* I just want to walk around and enjoy the scenery. What a waste of game art :-(

    Sounds like me playing PUBG! :D I've recently decided to purposely drop into high-traffic areas, just to get used to combat a bit more. Means shorter games, but at least I'm getting some practice in. At the end of the day though, if you can win a game just by avoiding everyone else until the very end then there's nothing wrong with that too. A win is a win. :)

    Doesn't Fortnite have other game modes though (unlike PUBG, which is literally just a battle royale mode)?
