You should be listening to the real thing, not a youtube video. So that you could use the free stencil to spray 999 all over the house !

  • Might be a little predictable, but this is my fave Tom Waits tune...
    Every night is curry night!
  • Some early Tom Waits

I heard the Rod Stewart version before I heard that and thought what a load of shite, but once I'd heard Tom Waits original version I changed my opinion. Rod Stewart had a habit of trying to wreck Tom Waits tunes.
I wanna tell you a story 'bout a woman I know...
  • Yes Tom Waits is a genius, which reminds me I still have six live Tom Waits concerts on CD to listen to, Toronto 87 ( 6th & 7th Oct, New York 19th 15th & 18th Oct 87, Minneapolis 1st November 1987. However they are probably the same set every night, hope the ad libs are different though !

Rod Stewart even manages to make his own songs sound shite! He's a real talent!
  • Good ol' Rodders!

Sad thing is I've more Rod Stewart since I moved to the states than I ever did when I lived in England. They bloody love Rodders here :))

  • I often wonder how they choose the songs for a Punk CD, probably put into a hat any song released in 1977/78
    Why no Shaking Stevens ?
