    Adam & the Ants were never a great live band, after the first song Adams dancing and running round had taken his breath away, from then on it was mostly downhill. Their real strength was in the recording studio with some fantastic tracks and albums ( kings of the wild frontier ) has never aged. Also their image was carefully crafted and adapted and manipulated by the Mcclarens after they had stolen the original Ants from him, effectively kicking him out of his own band. As we all know the original Ants were turned into Bow, Wow, Wow and used as a vehicle for a very Young and pretty " Friend " of Malcolms.

    I remember quite well the original sung by Robert Palmer but this version was completely unknown to me.
