Next you will be wearing you shirt as trousers and your pants on your head

Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
  • Well I listened to that twaddle Mel, I feel strange now, I should have read the health warning first.

Funny thing the other day, I was asked by someone which of the Pistols albums they had done was my favourite, I said they only did one Never Mind The Bill Hooks, they said, no I have about 20 different ones. They even thought Rock & Roll Swindle was the Pistols. Strange how History rewrites itself, I blame the Mandela effect !

    Cruz Somers: Beneath my Blood...….and.....

Related band the Socialites (Basically Cruz's other band) 7 inch release with 2 tunes Self defense, and Hate your guts.

Just downloaded the feckers for laughs, I'd have said solely because The Socialites 7 inch was released on...Get this! Goodbye Boozy :))

That's what the label's called Goodbye Boozy, must be an Omen ;)

But it's not the only reason I got em' I think they sound alright as well...Pity the recording quality is sh*t though. But this is what happens when you record albums in your bedroom.

I saw their first gig outside of Sheffield at the Music Machine in London the day after this session was broadcast, they were Brilliant, they had the slideshow and the main Synthesiser behind a Perspex screen in case people threw beer at them. Although Phil Oakey was hit in the face with a full can of beer, he just carried on as though nothing had happened. Crass were the support band on that night as well, loud but equally as brilliant !

  • Ouch! I got wellied in the face with a full can of beer when I was about 18, left a massive knot on my cheek under my eye. I'd have been annoyed at that, but kudos for ignoring it, the one that clocked me nearly knocked me stupid when it hit me. Although like most weird surprise attacks it didn't hurt that much, just the shock threw me off.....People can be right basts sometimes!

Why did someone hit you in the face with a beer can?
    The trouble with tribbles is.......
  • I'm not entirely sure why it just came spiraling across the room and hit me?

Although I do recall calling somebody else who may have been at the same house, at the same time a "bit of a c*nt" a few minutes previous to the unfortunate incident, who would've thunk he'd live up to his name sake?

  • Mel just dropped you funky experimental Aussie Punk Band Kitchen Peoples discog (to date anyway). You can get em' all on bandcamp, apart from Trendoid their latest album which has an $8 (AUS) limit (so about 25p :)) )...Guess who got that album a while before the minimum was added? That's right me! Mr. Stingey himself ;)

They are not bad at all !

However $8 Aus is £5.45 in real money, if they had been £1 or so I would have downloaded the whole discography, now I will be called Stingy toooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

A quick question, if you have stuff downloaded on Bandcamp can you put it on disc, if so, HOW ?

depends what format, presume you two download mp3s, which i wouldnt want on a disc anyway, if you rip it back off its not then cd quality even tho its off a disc

  • Can I have that again in English please, don't forget you lost me at MP3

By the way I just realised that it is the first album which is £5.45, the others you can add for about £1 so you get the whole disciography for less than £10
