Yeah I'm on another mission to find another 200 newer punk bands to play on mi shows ;)

Digging through some of my folders to see if there's more material by other bands I already have. My punk folder is almost as big as it used to be on the infamous old Hard drive, but it barely contains any of the stuff on said HDD.....Imagine what a force I'd be if I combined both folders :O

    :)) :)) :))

Anyway stumbled upon these fellas, they're an L.A. based experimental noise project supposedly, but they sound like bloody Shoegazers to me :))

I think I quite like this though, don't know if I'd play them on mi show....Unless Bassy was listening maybe, I know he has a softspot for psychedelic fuzz, Beat-ex Hairdo's, and dreampoppy type warbling :))

I still think it's really weird after all these years that John Peel worked at the BBC, really, even when he had his show on there, every week. I usually remember Sunday, but I also remember vaguely Friday in about 1991-to maybe 93. He was so clued up, and actually had good taste in music. How the f*ck did he work at the BBC?

How did they even let him play what he played? BBC DJ's always seemed to be on an agenda or script......He obviously was not...

That's one thing I've always wondered, just how, even a good few years after his death he is still 100% irreplaceable :O

Nobody could even hope to fill his shoes......

Which makes it even weirder, he could quite easily have been some shitbag hack, who faded into obscurity, but he instead embraced the obscurity that 90% of the Beebs listeners were probably scared of :))

Oh no! These hairy people sing about drugs....Let's play the Shamen :)) :)) :))

I didn't really know who he was until i bought this on CD in the late 90's. Seems he made a career out of talking nonsense, or at least, his own language.
