Looking for a grid game from 1982

One of the first games I ever bought for the spectrum was a grid style game where you were supposed to be chasing other vehicles, which were a single attribute

It was not Traxx or Gridrunner, any ideas much appreciated

Hello. Yes that’s the plan.

The game I am looking for basically had attributes you moved around single line boxes. The intro text was something about a chase through city blocks
