Well Portugal could have done better, we didnt take the benefit of Ronaldo playing as a true team captain and with his teammates. I personally wish you to win, go on and take the cup chaps!
Gutted. We really should have finished them off in the first half when we were the better team by a mile. Strange that we've scored a lot of goals but have been very wasteful. Fair play to Croatia though, they dug in deep and used their experience. Hope they go on to win it now.
Ref was atrocious and affected both teams. I lost count of the amount of times he gave a free kick to the wrong team and he was really averse to handing out yellow cards for niggly, sly tackles.
No excuses though, the slightly better team won and we've had a marvellous tournament to get as far and as close as we did.
I think they did great to get so far, despite what anyone says about having an "easy" path to the semis. Where were all the other supposed "good" teams not taking the easy path?
There's a niggling feeling left though they could have beaten Croatia, who have hardly set the knockouts alight, but who showed a bit more experience in game management. England ultimately fell a bit short in quality, but they're all young and will only get better from here!
France by definition always think they reach the Final and win; we beat them without Ronaldo remember that.
Croatians are Central European minded, they will fight madly in the field, they have nothing to fear, everything to win, everybody expects them to loose... France is in a tough spot, and I hope they loose the second final in a row xD

There's been so much made of this from non-England fans. They can only play who's put in front of them so are England to blame for Spain and Germany being so hopeless? Plus Colombia, Sweden and Croatia are not easy games in the slightest - all of them are potential banana skins for any team, as proven in the semi.
Since the second round started, my (proverbial) money has been on France to win. It's gonna be a tight one, but I reckon they'll beat Croatia.
I think it'll be tight too - probably going to be another boring WC Final. You just never know with France though. I think they'll either be on fire and put 3 or 4 past Croatia or they're going to do a Euro 2016 final and not turn up.

Non football lovers are humans too, even if this conversation has nothing to do with me, I am allowed to express my feelings. I know how upset your lives have become because some people who are earning more in a day than you will earn in a lifetime, forget how to play the game they are being paid for, hence, people are talking about putting their children into counselling because of the trauma they have gone through at losing.
Life has room for people who are not led by the media, they are called Conspiracy Theorists and they have lives too.
Football fans equally bring football into every conversation regardless of others interests, I guess they are as bad as Vegans and non smokers, I guess I expressed an opinion, which since it is against the law to do, silly me, I will end up getting into trouble with the thought police.

FWIW, I'm not into football either, but I still manage to get properly into international tournaments. Barely missed a game this World Cup! :D
There have been some great games and surprises, worth watching really. Usually it's the usual suspects that win the games. England did well with an inexperienced side, but as expected I err expected Croatia to just be a little more relaxed and able to win. If France turn up then it could be an interesting final, but I will be rooting for Croatia (their female fans are more yumyum :D )q
And the president of Croatia rules, with how she went into rain and celebrating, etc. Great to see the president showing what sport should be. France won, no one cared, everybody celebrated Croatia xD
