Yes, that's right, you can press any key. They only draw at the end of each loop of the tune that plays too, so you only really have to pay attention then.
It's better to take them to the sheriff though, as they sometimes escape from jail and you can collect their bounties more than once. Doesn't always end well though (they sometimes smash a bottle over your head and run away). :)

LOAD the game and if you have any problem (energy, money) just press NMI button on your Multiface (for ex. in Spectaculator F5) then press E to exit.
You are in BASIC.
type LET CS=1000 to make 1000 energy
type LET MU=150 to make 150$
then type CONTINUE and you cheated.
If you are wonder to the list, just LIST and see but use GO TO 15 instead of RUN (some variables is not declared in the BASIC part).

It shouldn’t reset, if the Multiface is enabled.
