I want to find REAL Gherkins, not these sweet pickle gherkin in Dill Vinegar, I could eat a jar of those, like Haywards or Branston used to make, where are they now ?
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
I have seen a couple of videos on people eating the new Morrisons Fiery Phaal curry with an eight chilli warning, it is claimed to be the hottest supermarket curry in the world and to be honest, by the looks on the faces of the people trying it, it seems to be scary hot. Lets hope that they avoid going into shock and dying !
Although as I have said before, if it gets viewers and comments, it is worth dying for !

Haven't seen that on our shelves.
Mind you, our Morrisons is on a mid-80s built estate of semis in a die-hard conservative area, so has delusions of Waitrose.
I remember when you had to go up to grim northern towns to find a Morrisons... Or at least t'Midlands...
Also I have a jar of Haywards Pickled onions in the cupboard, I may have to open em' up today after the brand name being mentioned. I'd forgotten all about them, yum pickled onions....
Yeah the stuffing looks like mould, and the peas although green have a greyness about them.....aaaaaand the carrots look like they still have the tops on them, who wants to eat that woody crap? The commode was always bad, brown, beige, blah blah!
zx1's Speccy roast wins this time even if it is microwave chicken, canned veggies, and Aunt Bessies yorkies and roasties, and chicken Bisto, it's considerably more vibrant....Plus mustard, and pickled onions with yummy gravy food.....WRONG! :p
Breast steak is pushing it a bit, are you sure it's not a medallion? Looks like less than 2 mouthfuls :p
Anything more than a mouthful is a waste (or summat to that effect :p )
Also, that probably would only be two mouthfuls for me (the whole meal, not the steak) :D
This will be in my belly later.. I seem to have a taste for all the different flavours of these recently, and they are perfect for a quick snack at lunchtime at work :)
What's on my saucer? Nothing yet, but I'm about to make a new burger for dinner.
I just ground 200g muscovy duck breast together with 100g bacon to raise the fat content.
That'll be the main ingredient together with picked red cabbage, marinated cucumber salad, lettuce, cheddar and bearnaise.
I wonder how it'll turn out, lol. Pictures later ;)

The brand do do a jar of 'Burger Gherkins' (round slices) but I've never seen them in a supermarket.
It's also tasty to finely dice them up and mix with honey mustard and a little ketchup to make a burger sauce.
