I'm sure I've played loads of games with this sort of theme... yet the only one I can remember clearly right now is:
Potty Planter worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0010626
which is a reverse pac-man clone really.
then there's similar things - like 'Birds n the Bees' that have a 'nature helping' theme but aren't 'gardeners' as such.
Thanks for the suggestions. There's a few in there that for some reason I never got round to playing, and one or two I didn't know of such as Grell and Falla (very nice use of colour for the spectrum). Agent Orange I remember seeing screen shots of Agent Orange, and wondering what sort of game it was. I looked it up on Youtube, but couldn't quite figure out what was going on, are you supposed to be harvesting something on different planets. Quite nice crisp graphics, but every level looks pretty much the same as the last??
Something tells me I did play Petro once or twice, but I had completely forgotten about it.
I have checked all the suggestions out, but will look up Greenhouse to see what it was like.
Yes Hover Bover, doesn't look like it would be too hard to convert to the spectrum.
